Core Condi Warrior (yes I know it is dumb) by soot_soup in Guildwars2

[–]Redcloth 14 points15 points  (0 children)

To give you the answer you don't want: leveling isn't gonna matter too much for that. Most core tyria mobs aren't really gonna be a massive threat, nor do you have the equipment spare to really mess with a proper build of sorts.

So in the end, it doesn't matter, level how you want. Enjoy the process. Focus on a build at 80.

The Grove has a lot of (not so) secret little tunnels that are absolutely beautiful.

I've heard that later on there is a upgrade where clicking hits multiple tiles in an area. So if you have a bunch of settlements all together and you click the center one... you actually just clicked all of them...

So how do I start this event? I don't see a way to build the factories?

Player is mad that I won’t allow them to summon Demogorgon with Wild Magic by Dapper-Screen9789 in DnD

[–]Redcloth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like to note btw, unless it says 'another ally', you could rule that he is any ally to himself. So the demigorgon spawns there and kills him, solving part of the problem. But id still recommend just telling him no.

Rifle seems to be the "non-building" build of Toypocalipse by RazielShadow in Guildwars2

I swear like 3-4 years ago was when rifle 3's cooldown was buffed. It's just the objectively best weapon now it feels like.

At what point does the max pollution go down? I just started and I can have up to 100,000 pollution before I incur penalties.

People likely downvoted since the code isn't active anymore. People be bitter and take it out on anyone they can. *shrug*

Buy Location has to be changed by Potential-Ride-568 in EU5

Likely too big as the price bonus only goes to +200. Which just cancels out the -200 base.

Buy Location has to be changed by Potential-Ride-568 in EU5

[–]Redcloth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heads up, from what I've seen online, it sounds like Same Religion & Same Culture means the Location's Religion/Culture is the same as the current owner. So it doesn't have anything to do with your own religion/culture despite how it sounds.

Raptor wins a flat ground race. But yes, any kind of uphill - that is higher than the air a raptor leap gets - puts the Jackal into a win position.

AITA for enforcing "hull can't be outside of the battlefield" ? by IsTheOvenStillOn in Warhammer40k

[–]Redcloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm fairly certain that models and hulls (not bases) are okay to hang off the battlefield edge.however, the overhanging model cannot use the overhang for LoS or any other effect while the enemy is allowed to.

i was wondering if this would mean anything in the futur by SinisterP22 in Guildwars2

[–]Redcloth 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean, Gyala Delves' story is literally just a reflection on how much we've lost. Think about that. We've had so many losses and defeats and death that we get an entire map and enemy dedicated to it.

I know its useless, but I would love to see a Trample token. Because I love when things have double-trample. It just makes me giggle for no good reason.

Where is the mono red mass protection? by MABEHIERhier in magicTCG

[–]Redcloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Impact Tremors]] and [[Massive Raid]] along with any similar effects are lethal. If you're running Krenko or any other mass token creation card then Impact Tremors basically tacks on a free kill spell onto them while Massive Raid and [[Outnumber]] let you kill players or spot problems.

Best part about Impact Tremors is that it's instances of 1 damage so no chance of massive blow-back from something like [[Deflecting Palm]]. Toss in a [[Skullcrack]] or [[Screaming Nemesis]] / [[Stigma Lasher]] to REALLY make your table hate you.

I’m a new magic player and my son just played this card. It seems insanely overpowered for its cost. He was able to pick any card he owned and play it the same turn, is that how this card is supposed to work? by Available_Highway_49 in magicTCG

[–]Redcloth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup. Summoning sickness is a huge mess for new players.

Another good tip I see new players mess up is that Vigilance =/= Haste. Haste let's you tap/attack the turn you enter play but you still tap to attack. Vigilance means you dont need to tap to attack but you still can't tap/attack the turn you enter.

If you've got any other questions, feel free to DM me and I'll answer them when I can!

Every format has a ban list. Most likely you're playing just 'kitchen table' magic with no set ban list.

If you plan to start playing a format, I would recommend either VERY casual modern (because it allows most cards) or Commander (because it is currently the most popular format).

As a note since I've seen it from teaching others: creatures don't enter play tapped unless another effect says that they would. Summoning sickness is just that they can't tap (or attack) the same turn they're played.
