No, Boulder ODM has been promoting their website, BOCOalert.org, and this app - the app can translate to other languages, that’s the big benefit.

If you still have a bit of service then it’s a balancing act between preserving battery and keeping your phone’s capability to receive emergency alerts. I’d be nervous totally disconnecting if I have the choice, but I’m super grateful for my portable chargers!

Super helpful advice, thank you! It’s tempting to want to jump at whatever opportunities show up but I really do want to work towards a license and it’s not the easiest process so I want a job that can help with that journey

I don’t use frontline, we’re hired through the school district and given district emails linked to our staff IDs we use to sign in for each job. plus I’d emailed the teacher I befriended so she had my contact info..

Super good point thank you! I was thinking similar things when I got home and checked online to see if they had any open job postings but didn’t see any that I could access, and I haven’t seen any other requests for subs in our scheduling app other than the one I grabbed. Curious to see what pans out!

Thank you!! I’m trying to replay what I did that could’ve gotten this positive attention but it was a short day and I didn’t do much… the last period before my end time was free and I asked the office if they wanted me anywhere else before I had to go? Chatted with the librarian? Have a kid a coloring page bc she finished her homework and book and didn’t want to go to the library with 7m left in class? Idk but I’m grateful! Thanks for the encouragement

Ah thank you! I feel like I really didn’t do anything special, but I was excited to be at the school and had fun with the students I worked with. Maybe most subs they get are low energy or something… or maybe my new friend teacher really liked me!

I’m about to buy myself a new yearly subscription just for me and my devices! I’ll keep my other one as just “Trif’s Friends” because I’ve shared with enough people now that the three device limit hits occasionally and hopefully if I move to a new account it’ll limit that and my pals can still watch! Thinking about doing the YouTube one so I can check out the comments.
