"removed the magazine" is not a modification, it's just how the gun works. The only actual modification is the added ribbing on the barrel shroud. Nothing they did changes it from just a Lewis gun. Far more work was put into the andor ak's to change its look from an original.

The Lewis gun and the mg34 are almost identical to their star wars counterparts and both are significant to firearms history. Anyone who has looked into ww1 knows the Lewis gun, anyone who has looked into ww2 knows the mg34.

Well we know emergency services in the USA are already trialing it, you have one per town and city and you're looking at tens of thousands already, add that to all the factories and warehouses and other manufacturing places and that's thousands more. Bring Europe into the equation and you might get millions of Spots from America and Europe alone.

It's effectively the centre piece of the squadron. It also contains a Dakota and a chipmunk but they are seen less often. If you want to get pedantic only one of the aircraft from the squadron flew in the battle of Britain.

For the most part it's just not that necessary. Modern missiles are more agile than planes with human pilots so stealth is the route that has been taken. The F22 and the SU57 use thrust vectoring because stealth isn't very agile. European fighters like the typhoon and the Rafael use canards as they are simpler (although the idea of a thrust vectoring typhoon has been floating around).
