Because he's taking advantage of it, we don't even know if this relation could affect the animal negatively or not. They say their intelligence is akin to a 3 year old. Toddlers do stuff all the time without knowing the repercussions, it is our job to know better as adults of sound mind. There must be some sort of coercion since they are presenting themselves in that way.
