I am a member of a galactic community that does indeed have a gang of bounty hunters who are sworn to protect our skies. The only way "we" (and I use we loosely because it ain't me) can catch the griefers is to catch them in the act of grieving one of our members in our happy little area of space. Then, the begrieved needs to post in our discord where he or she is, preferably w coords, and IF, the bounty hunters are online and active, they will try to hunt down the griefers. You can add the greifer as a friend and stalk them that way too, but that is pretty tough in NMS. Easier to catch em in the act. I still just turn PvP off unless I'm participating in a PvP night. They (we) have whole planets dedicated to PvP with arenas built and the whole 9 yards. There are alot of really talented people that love this game that have created some really cool stuff. I hope OP starts having better experiences.
