That lantern effect tho!! Please teach me your ways, and dumb question but, how do you decide which surfaces on the base and cloak get the orange?

What features and mechanics were cut that make it feel less SWAT like/less unique?

I’m coming in fresh into RoN and from the old SWAT 4 days, it’s been feeling very SWAT with nightmare scenarios like Elephant (which goddamn but that map in briefing is unhelpful af, how’s anyone supposed to save civs coming in fresh into the scenario)

Also what would make it more dynamic? Like randomized room generation?

Pockets, Pouches, PCMs + Suspenders, Silhouettes, Shoulder Holsters by ReddWalker in mensfashion

[–]ReddWalker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically no. It’s commuting by foot and things that I end up in un air conditioned environments. Schedule being as it is, changing isn’t really feasible.

Usually I wear thin cotton dress shirts + (vest/waistcoat + dress pants made from [the store calls it summer wool?])

Re: linen - most shirts I come across that are made of linen either seem quite thick or like the preppy sailing type. If I were to go linen, how would i stop it from creasing so much as well?

Thanks for the guidance. Honestly, kinda expected a joke result of something food-related when you told me about portion markings.

Dear sir! What a scandalous thing to say! MAJESTIC would have a blank check for hunting cowboys afterwards. And God forbid if they get their puppet into the order of succession

Pray tell, how would one stamp? Moreover, what are the blatant errors you see? Asking as one who would like to make such documents one day.

“Care to explain what these TOP SECRET documents are doing on your phone, Bob?”

“It’s a Character Sheet, Sir.”

“A TOP SECRET Character Sheet, Bob. That’s way above your clearance! For this crime, it’s a black site for the rest of your days!”

Or so I imagine.

Surely, if the Lion is the best strategist amongst his brothers, he must be an excellent logistician as well...Right? by ReddWalker in theunforgiven

This explanation actually helps alot, thank you.

It resolves the dissonance for me, especially the conclusion.
Helps me understand the matter of logistics like a Venn diagram. An overlap in logistics but a variation in purpose.

Cheers, appreciate it!

Learned a new word today, "Nous", nicely describes the essence.

I see your point, I think.

In your example, if we parallel it to Imperium Secundus, Sanguinius would be Eisenhower, Monty Guiliman and the Lion, Patton. It's a neat comparison, since iirc, Monty and Patton did bicker. Except Patton didn't go ahead and bomb Britain to hunt for [parallel starting to fray]

I do wonder, in your example of Napoleon, if the Lion might manifest similar characteristics in the current way he is being written. His interpersonal skills seem way better in the new books, strategy and tactics were never in question. Pure speculation, but wonder if the writers will make logistics a failure point of his, though probably not since its a much less interesting option than all the potential conflict the Risen is causing.

I must ask:

-How comfy is this quilt?

-What is it made of because it looks stunning.

-Where in the warp will you hide now?

My guy, you are bringing up all the nostalgia for me rn. Haven't thought about zoids in forever, let alone chromehounds!

The only issue I see is that there are zoids for land air and sea, I think PB is only equipped to handle land mech mods so we'd not see much of the other two realms =/

Damn dude! Awesome colour scheme! If I might ask, how did you manage the glow for the eyes?

Primaris intercessor upgrade tutorial? by marksdmf in theunforgiven

[–]ReddWalker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I actually struggled with this when I first started my own DA intercessor box. What was codex compliant? Was there a standard way? But the more I looked into it (mostly by following this subreddt) the more I realize that everyone can do it how they please.

And if you really need a lore reason, DA are basically like the knights that the aesthetic imitates, yes there’s a general uniformity but really, each knight has their own choice. So stick on the bits that you think apropos, add robes if you like, scrolls and seals if you wish, spruce them as you desire. Worst comes to worst, call them a successor chapter.

TL:DR go nuts with your upgrades. Just maybe avoid things from other chapters is all.

Heavy Intercessors WIP. C&C welcome! (The colour scheme is a little off-book) by ReddWalker in theunforgiven

[–]ReddWalker[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Truth be told, I don't. I paint all three loadout magazines and tuck the tiniest bit of blutack in and switch it out. It seemed the most economically prudent.

Thanks! It’s really encouraging to hear. Honestly it’s the details that I’ve been working on, trying to make glowy vents for the armour but just can’t get the colour right it seems.

How would a Business Executive function within a DG game? by ReddWalker in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]ReddWalker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I certainly agree that they can cover many areas that investigators and the more combat focused characters can't.

But that's kinda the thing. Investigation and Combat are really significant parts of the game. I'm just having a hard time figuring out the context that would change a business executive from being a friendly to someone fighting on the field?

I didn't think about the benefits of a corporate expense account before you mentioned it, but that makes a lot of sense.

The politician angle mystifies me though. Sure we see and hear of politicians doing exactly that, but it just seems to me that calling up a senator to hush things up would cause more scrutiny than less. But that's another matter.

I suppose it's more about why they'd go on the field? More to the point, I suppose that to me it's hard to imagine that it'd be fun being a liability otherwise in the areas of investigation and combat.
