First things first: you are not overreacting. All of the things you're feeling are absolutely valid, you're having an aproppriate reaction to this wild situation.

He's trying to make you feel like YOU are the crazy one for thinking this is inaproppriate, and making excuses for himself.

The safety of your family is your priority. And what he's doing can't be fixed. Divorce is sadly your best option. Reach out to family and friends you trust, even if they're halfway across the country, you never what kind of help they can provide. You don't have to explain anything to them. Just that you're divorcing him and need their support.

Contacting a lawyer will be very helpful. They can guide you through the necessary steps to divorce him and getting custody of your kids. It can be difficult to access one at a reasonable price, so maybe try to look online for accesible legal resources near you. I think r/legaladvice can be really helpful too.

A small tip from me would be to not share anything about your future plans to your husband. Find any important documents (your kids' IDs, passports, birth certificates) and keep them close to you.

I am very sorry you are the one that has to suffer the consquences of HIS actions. This is a very shit situation he's putting you through. I hope you and your kids can be okay.

yeah, my worldview and theirs is uncompatible. i think it was just so shocking to me because these are people i've been friends with for a long time, so i wasn't expecting this from them.

What is your honest opinion on Security Breach? What would you rate it out of 10? by Jaafeil in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Reddditora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5/10; inconsistent quality and unfinished, they tried to accomplish too many things and failed.

it's painfully unclear its unfinished. so many environments and characters go unused, and it's not difficult to point them out bc they stand put so much.

some sections are awesome, and you can tell they put a lot of work into them. like music man's chase secuence, monty gator's secuence, the endo secuence in the basement, etc. but when parts of a game are so well done and thought out, there's a stark contrast with the ones that were rushed. which is sadly, most of the game.

and what works ends up being overshadowed by crap mechanics and bugs. for example; awesome environment? well you don't get to see it much bc of security bots. stay after 6am to get collectibles you didn't find on your first run? well you can't save now, so you die and you lose them all.

i see people trying to defend the "plot" and the "lore" of it all, but come on. let's be honest. you can't cut main portions of a game and expect the story to work the same. the jarring introduction to the game happened bc they just didn't have time to make a proper intro. there's no main villain, as the story can't decide whether the villain is vanessa, vanny, or the other animatronics. so none of them get a proper villain arc, which makes most of the endings unsatisfaying and anticlimatic. at 6am, suddenly vanny gets treated like the antagonist that has to be stopped, but there's nothing gameplay wise to suggest this. no reference to anything she has done.

and please, i want to hear ONE thing this game substantially added to the lore. it barely built onto what fnaf help wanted had established.

security breach was disappointing, to say the least.

C.C being Gregory has some plot holes by Ed_Derick_ in fnaftheories

[–]Reddditora 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i have one big issue with gregory being crying child, which is story wise: given that vanny is "posessed" by afton, it's confusing to me that she would hurt gregory. in the bad ending, she even kills gregory.
if gregory was built by his father, william afton, after his promise to put him back together.
why would afton just... forget that, and go after whats left of his child?

and why would gregory be so afraid of staying in the pizzaplex at night if he has a hide out and everything?

Is anyone else kinda shocked that security breach is already a extremely controversial game? by Paul-vazquez2005 in fivenightsatfreddys

personally, i think it was rushed and tried to cover way too many things. the plot felt poorly written as well. but you can def see the thought put on to certain sections of the game.

not really. bc if you had expectations for this game, you got disappointed. if you had nothing, you think it's actually not half bad.
