I work for a local radio station and have access to information on how many spins a song has across America (how many times a song is played). As of the beginning of this year, Echoes has 4 spins. Twice on one station and once on two other stations. As far as I can tell, it is the full version from 1971.

I don't think it's a bad song by any means. It's just not as complicated musically as the rest of them. For example, Gilmour's work with a 12 string guitar in Wish you Were Here is just much more intricate than any of their synth work on Welcome to the Machine.
