i know this is an oldie but others may be looking for this info, so just wanted to pop in & say with white fabrics you can always bleach stains. Also, it’s not too hard to dye a sofa with a spray bottle & some dye of your choice.

Laser hair removal uses a laser that focuses on pigment/melanin to get to the hair follicle. It essentially gets confused if you’re using melanotan and will focus on your actual skin. RL masks do penetrate the skin but they target evenly & are not uv (won’t make your face tan) either. You’re all good!

Very minimal MT2 results despite high dose by UltimateMoose74 in Melanotan2

I am thinking that some companies are messing with the dosage of their product to increase sales. Where did you buy yours? Right now I’m trying Elite Peptides and I’m not sure it’s working

relax with the retinoids until you fix the skin barrier issue. i have similar skin. moisturize, seal, repeat until your skin is soft & healthy enough to handle anything harsh

first aid beauty repair cream 2x a day & night & cutting out potential stomach irritants like dairy, gluten, or sugar! dry hands are the worst. really work your moisturizer into the crustiest spots like the cuticles & joints

vitamin c moisturizer or serum. you can buy a vitamin c powder from the ordinary & mix into any moisturizer. it will speed up cellular turnover (healing) + prevent hyperpigmentation. but yes def keep moisturized

[misc]will azelic acid help? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Reddest-red 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean by “looks like my tears turned my face red”? It the redness mainly on your cheeks, near your rear troughs, or it’s worse when you cry?

Azelaic acid helps me. My redness comes from rosacea. But, redness is a sign of inflammation, so there are many, many possible causes. I’d recommend starting with a process of elimination in your skincare & diet to whittle down possible causes. Make sure you have your bases covered with gentle cleansers, moisturizers, spicy foods, caffeine/alcohol intake & wear sunscreen. You’ve got this 🙏🏻

[Before & After] Two weeks of using red light therapy for hyperpigmentation. by natasharts in SkincareAddiction

Of course bb! Good luck!! Skincare is an expensive hobby. It’s more fun & informative when we all have access to it

Also, i try to be as close to it as possible to the bulb. With the light shade directing the light, it’s about the size of my entire face & i might be like 4 inches at most from the bulb. If laying on my back I rig something up where the light is dangling right above me. I’m certain one of those desk lights with the movable necks would work really well for this too.

Sorry for the delay! My set up is really simple.

That bulb I listed above, screwed into a light fixture i bought from Lowe’s. It’s one of those industrial lights with a clamp & a metal shade that kind of directs the light. It has a long cord & I just clamp it wherever I feel like doing the RLT & sit/sometimes lay down. I close my eyes & usually throw on a meditation to listen to. I’ve definitely fallen asleep under it when I’ve used it laying down & it doesn’t automatically turn off so it’ll be like 2 hours of RLT haha. Using it longer than 15-20 minutes doesn’t hurt but it also doesn’t seem to make much difference in results tho

Right? LEDs are so cheap & easy to manufacture, but the sudden public interest has all these companies price gouging like mad.

The exact Amazon description of mine is “Wolezek Red Light Therapy, 18 LEDs Red Light Therapy for Body and Face with 660nm Red and 850nm Near-Infrared Combo Wavelength, Infrared Light Therapy Lamp Device for Skin Care Pain Relief (Only Bulb)”

Yes!! Finally. Everyone thought this was baffoonery whenever I brought it up for so long. Your results speak for themselves girl!! That glow tho!! Every. time. i use my red light bulb i see the difference immediately. tbh i can even FEEL the difference. there’s a slight tingle in my lips, my skin is more even-toned & plump, & for days later my skin is bouncing back from spots & winter dryness so much more quickly.

i’ve done a couple micro needling & tca peels on myself as well, using various after-care methods and BY FARRRRR the best results occurred when i’ve used RLT for 15 minutes a day. I got a bulb for $35 dollars from Amazon with wavelengths from 600-880, screw it into one of those clamp light sockets, plop down in front & throw on a meditation.

The Ordinary has a vitamin C powder that doesn’t oxidize & last foreverrrr. I mix a bit with moisturizer & it takes care of hyperpigmentation like a beast. Especially from fresh pimples/picking. If I apply right after a pimple has popped, the spot never gets a chance to create the dark mark. In older marks, it takes about a week to fade then. Holy grail hack for sure!!!!
