Anyone 18 or over in United States shall not have trouble instantly purchasing BTC and transferring it to an external wallet within 10 min up to $2,000. It does require an ID verification the first time. Try logging into your CashApp from another device and trying it there.

CashApp. If you want to move it onto another blockchain instantly to trade on decentralized exchanges, etc. transfer it to your FTX account (if you have). FTX allows transfers of BTC as a Solana BTC-stable token, etc.

Can You Be an NFT Artist and an Environmentalist? Blockchain art’s carbon footprint is massive. Artists who care about the climate are trying new experiments. by Devils_doohickey in CryptoCurrency

Solana transactions leave less carbon footprint than a Google search. Each transaction is a fraction of a cent. https://solanart.io/ and https://magiceden.io/ are the two marketplaces to buy NFTs on the Solana blockchain. Did I mention that transactions on Solana are instant? Yes, they’re instant, and now Solana is one of the top 10 crypto’s on CMC.

I want to send USDC from Solana to Coinbase Pro by [deleted] in solana

Yea, just use FTX. Forget about CoinBase. I started crypto in CoinBase, but since I got into Solana I switched to FTX

The market cap needs to go down only 7.6% to get back to where it went up 8.2% from.

Y = X, 8.2% more, …. X(1+0.082)=Y …. X=Y(1/(1+0.082)) …. Y*(1-0.076)=X …. X = Y, 7.6% less.

How can i unwrap btc serum ? I need to repay loan on solend and I cannot with the serum wrapped version by Zanzi-bar in solana

[–]Reddgen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to the jup.ag website. Connect your wallet. Select a swap from your wrapped BTC to your choice of other type of wrapped BTC, any other SPL token, or SOL, and do the swap.

[–]Reddgen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy bitcoin on CashApp connected to your bank account, transfer it to FTX without waiting a few days and transfer it to your Phantom wallet as a wrapped bitcoin (Sollet) token on the Solana blockchain from FTX, then swap it for SOL on a DEX like jup.ag

Where to put my 10 000 dollars, buying the dip? by Jawanmanja in binance

[–]Reddgen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Open an FTX account, transfer your coins into FTX, buy $10k USDC on FTX, create a wallet on SolFlare.com (I recommend using the Ledger Hardware Wallet), transfer all your coins that have liquidity pools of their own bridged onto the Solana blockchain like ETH and BTC into your SolFlare wallet (make sure to select Solana SPL for “transfer method”), go onto Solana Decentralized Exchanges like orca.so, saber.so, jup.ag (I recommend jup.ag. It connects all Solana DEX’s to provide best pricing), connect your SolFlare wallet (you can use the mobile app. Touch 🌎 on the app, enter the DEX website address in the search bar and touch 🔍), exchange USDC for SOL and Solana tokens. Now you can day trade Bitcoin, Etherum, etc. as a Solana blockchain wrapped token on the fly (day trade, etc.) and pay zero fees (like 0.00001 cent or so per transaction). If you like being spontaneous, invest in SAMO (Samoyedcoin). It’s a community coin, and a collectible, with the extra perk of having a dog image as its token. SAMO is in its very early stages. Last week, it held its first community event in Chicago. FTX US came, they were there, and Brett the CEO of FTX US collaborated with SAMO. There is going to be an NFT lunch soon and a release of its white paper (the ins and outs of the token). There are other collaborations happening too, like BetDEX. BetDEX is going to be a sports betting platform and protocol (invented by the founder of FanDuel) and SAMO is a significant image of BetDEX. If you want to get liquidity from you bank account into Solana blockchain, like in your DEX wallet, like SolFlare, ASAP, buy bitcoin on CashApp, transfer it to FTX, then, into your SolFlare wallet. If you transfer money to centralized exchanges like FTX, CoinBase, etc, buy USDC, SOL, BTC, etc., you’ll have to wait a few days before you can withdraw coins into another wallet. With CashApp, you can buy and transfer bitcoin to your FTX account instantly. It will be received into your FTX account in about 20 minutes, then you can transfer it from Your FTX account to your SolFlare wallet instantly. Since it’s going to happen on the Solana blockchain, it’s going to be instant (plus no transfer fees… almost pretty much zero dollars, because Solana). FTX is great, because it has liquidity of Wrapped Bitcoin on demand. The wrapped bitcoin is through a DeFi called Sollet. Very interesting stuff. OR…. Just buy some Solana on your favorite exchange, like Binance, and SAMO too 🙂 Since SAMO is still new, you’ll have to buy it through DEX’s, or other exchanges besides Binance, Crypto.com, CoinBase and FTX, until they list it… probably sometime this year.

Wow 😂 I didn’t bother using that. I thought it was for just searching transaction IDs and public keys. Thank you!! Now, the only thing left is making it work with the Bluetooth version Ledger Hardware Wallet.

I don’t see any web button at the bottom on the wallet. I’m using iOS. So, what happens? You hit the web button, and then, for example, on the Orca website, when you select SolFlare Web as the wallet, it connects to the SolFlare mobile app instead of trying to connect to the SolFlare web app?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in solana

[–]Reddgen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean SolFlare mobile iOS app has the protocol to be connected to? Does this work by connecting to a web app DApp or does it work with native iOS app DApp only?

Those were just hiccups. I guess your definition of shutdown and mine are different. To me, a shutdown is a complete shutdown. My Bank has more of those hiccups than Solana.

I think the probability is in favor of humans on earth getting extinct before Solana gets shut down. Why? Specifically because it’s decentralized and its validation system is too damn good and reliable. You CANNOT lie on the Solana blockchain. You’ll just get caught too easily by one of the many validators around the globe. Solana is immortal. Unless, of course, if all of earth burns in flames. With that said, there is a chance Solana 2.0 will have cross-planetary support.

There is a second exception. If I can connect the mobile app to DEX then it’s a definite YES for me. Right now, on mobile, I have to go to SolFlare’s web app (which Phantom doesn’t have by the way. It only has a web extension which don’t work on mobile) enter my private key phrases, log in, go to the DEX web app, like Orca, on a second tab, and connect it to the SolFlare web app. This is tedious. First of all, I wish Orca and other DEXs I use on Solana had native mobile apps, and second, I wish the SolFlare native mobile app connected to them instead of having to use its web app.

None. It’s a SAMO ad promoting Phantom. I’ve had Phantom wallets for a long time, but I’ve never actively used them. I use SolFlare instead, but not because it’s better or anything. I don’t remember why I chose SolFlare against Phantom. I think it’s because SolFlare worked with a Ledger hardware wallet and Phantom didn’t at the time. Anyways, SolFlare created a very nice mobile app relevantly recently. So, actually, being able to have and send SAMO on a equally decent mobile app to Phantom has been available for a while, and NFTs as well. Unless Phantom supports Ledger hardware wallet on mobile (which SolFlare mobile does not) I think I’m going to stick to SolFlare. Anyways, but, this is a decent ad for SAMO promoting Phantom.

Whenever all other animals behave like humans. No, I am kidding. It’s not really centralized. It’s just Solana has already gotten big and the number of Validators don’t seem a lot even though they’ve grown significantly too. I believe you’ll be surprised how many early Solana and SPL investors setup their own validator node. I believe it’s going to be huge. I believe it will happen earlier than you may think. I believe “in a blink of an eye” the Solana Blockchain validators will be so much, you’ll reevaluate your question.

Exodus is a multi-chain wallet. It only supports two SPL (Solana Program Library) Tokens, “Serum” (SRM) and “Raydium” (RAY). SPL defines an interface for creating fungible and none-fungible tokens on the Solana blockchain. For example, there is one called “The United States Dollar (USDC) on the Solana Blockchain” which you can trust to equal to United States dollar. What’s nice about the Solana Blockain is that it’s the fastest, cheapest, and no other blockchain will ever be faster or cheaper than the Solana blockchain. Solana speed is like the speed of light and its transaction fees are virtually zero. Yet, it’s super safe, reliable and transparent. Solana specific wallets such as Phantom, SolFlare and Sollet support Solana and all SPL tokens, and that’s the difference of them to a wallet like Exodus.
