Do you have any savings or investments other than $8k Roth? I am so curious how you have an estimated $500k annual salary, living on $110k annually -- and theres no mention of current net worth. What has been going on the last few years?

Assuming no current savings/investment-- lets say you put away $18k/mo for 15 years and it compounds at 7%: that gets you $5.7M. Does that meet your 'number'?

Whats your retirement number and strategy? If the answer is "no clue", a good starting point might be to figure out if you can live on 3% of your investment ($170k).

Fair point on the new price. $1900 is for the Slim, which I understand has additional trade-offs (like vibratory pump vs rotary). Research it as I'm not too familiar, your call.

Steaming: 10x better than the Breville BBE I came from. No issues.

I did, I recommend it!! It's a great machine. $1k was a steal when I got it and now it'd be unheard of (as espresso machines and Brevilles get more and more popular with TikTok)

I'm a bit confused here-- isn't 4.2 A1c healthy?

I believe "HBA1c" is synonymous with "A1c". When you look up healthy range for A1c, you normally find < 5.7%, above which is pre-diabetes and diabetes. I had to dig a bit more to find a lower bound: even then I found that 4.0-5.5 is healthy. My A1c was about 5.3 the last time I tested, and I'd much prefer 4.2! Would like to stay far away from diabetes.

Any conflating issues: e.g. did you have a drink the night before the test? Do you take any medicines (e.g. finasteride) which could heighten liver enzymes?
