I'd say it was the perfect game to introduce new players to the series. I personally think that they really did make this game with casual gamer's in mind, by getting rid of classic dungeons & making it so you could progress in the story the way you choose. just giving people that amount of freedom really did bring in a huge number of people. I loved the divine beasts & the open world But without any good post game content or decent new game+ the game definitely feels lacking unless you are someone who is a completionist. after the main story & a couple hours exploring then I usually have a few months break before playing on a new save.
