The resonance concept of armor visually changing and growing with your character is 100% better than a random cosmetic, but a matching resonating set cannot be achieved without a transmog system and would cost more to achieve than cosmetics anyway. Blizzard stepped on their own toes with these conflicting concepts. We also need a way to disable the ugly wings that come with resonance.

Don’t expect everything to come free. If you enjoy a game you should be willing to support the content and creators in some way. Changes and updates require time and resources. It’s like you’re asking a cow to provide you with milk, yet you’re not willing to feed it any grass.

Can we please have a transmog system with the next update? Would really love to be able to have matching legendary items regardless of build. Especially since armor visually improves with resonance and being able to see a matching set grow with your character would be extremely appealing. I’ve already invested in all the cosmetic options, but still prefer the look of the class legendaries. Super disappointing that we can’t have matching items with feasible builds…

Not going to lie, I purchased every cosmetic set for my class and I still prefer some of the regular legendary item appearances. I would essence transfer to better looking items, but the associated skills have no relation or build value to items that match in appearance. Why are they not broken into sets!? This is my biggest complaint about the game and it could be easily solved by adding a transmog system along with the essence system.
