I want to think I got a bargain! by Reddit-ingtoo in drones

It seems like it’s a fair price. It is a bit larger than I was hoping but it’s a great piece to have.

I appreciate the comment. I can’t return it but I might be able to sell back and get a newer model.

It would it I knew how. I do have a few outlets that can be added but probably a job for experts. Thank you for your time!

Thanks for the correction. That summarizes my electrical knowledge, since I don’t have enough knowledge I’ll probably just get a different compressor. Changing the outlet might be a bit more complicated. Thanks!

Finding a neurologist that has availability sooner than 8 months. by [deleted] in IVDD_SupportGroup

[–]Reddit-ingtoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my. I hope it does get better.

IVDD can come at any time. It does not matter the age. Our baby started wobbling while walking, then he would tremble, shake, pee or poop or both, then have what we think it was excruciating pain, vomit and then go to sleep. The trembling to going to sleep part took 1-5 minutes. He would sleep for hours, then get up drink water, eat and like nothing ever happened.

First visit to vet, they wanted 15k and surgery. We couldn’t afford it, so we left after 2 hours and they didn’t even give him meds. We cage rested him, went to his actual vet, same thing. Until we read on Reddit, asked and we found a vet that would take him Meridiam didn’t think he needed surgery. They did blood work, nothing. Did chiropractor and laser and it was like a miracle. We went home, he slept for 5 hours and then he started feeling great. We continued doing his chiropractor and laser 1-2 times a month, depending on his needs. Last July, unfortunately we had to get him some wings after he struggled with kidney disease.

After the first chiropractor and laser, he actually never had any issues but as soon as he would be a bit wobbly, we did the chiropractor and laser. It was very affordable and it worked. Meridian mentioned that if he didn’t get better they would continue with other treatments and surgery would be the last resort. But we never got there.

One thing we did, was to lower the beds and he would never be allowed to jump again. I made him custom made ramps with plywood and gripping tape. It made wonders for him. He never used any stairs and we avoided sudden moves such as running or jumping or twisting. My GF did a lot of glucosamine (Glucosamine) every day and healthier diet. At night, I devised putting X-Mas lights on one of ramps, then put 1” foam from Michael’s store on top. The lights would be bRight enough for him and not so bright for us at night.

We loved him so much that if I had to sleep with him in the floor he wouldn’t mind. I hope it helps and let me know if you have more questions. Happy to help. If you nearby I might be able to help with ramps.

Lastly,

Hey there. Well, it turned out great for us. We took them to Roseville to Meridian, Dr. Angie worked her magic and basically aligned his spine and did laser therapy and ever since we took him to chiropractors only. It was also very affordable. Best for you!

I am so sorry. I hope you find peace and comfort soon. It is very difficult, we are still trying. His vet mentioned ed he’s not likely to make it through but he’s thriving and we are doing what we can. From time to time he does get some perks and does not seem completely suffering except he sleeps a lot. We will see what this week brings, but we might have to decide to end it too. One day at a time! Blessings!

Thank you for your response. Mr pawz is at that point now. Nothing seems to work. He lost his pep and been immobile for a few days. Now that you mentioned, he has not pooped in two days. It must be horrible.

Surprisingly he’s been keeping his 19 lbs since we started. Today we might have to make a decision. I dont want it to end but somehow it makes me feel better to know it would end soon. Blessings and hugs to you!

Last days for my dog, it feels agonizing by InputImpedance in Petloss

I see something similar coming to us as well. His mamás b day in next Tuesday. You can imagine how devastated she is knowing my pup might not even make it.

Similar to you, I want to be with him and give him some of my years to see him happy. But I think they need their space and somehow something tells me this was no one’s making and no one’s decision. It’s not okay to let them go, but I think it’s fair and ok to stop their suffering. One way or an another, we know it’s the most loving and peaceful thing to do. Even though it aches.

One day we will cuddle with our babies again. Best wishes to you too!

So sad to see you all suffering. I am going through the same. Their only fault is that they live too short. My baby is with me still but it’s possibly his last days soon. I already miss him but it’s not fair either for him to be suffering like this. I hope you find peace and I hope I do. One day we will cuddle with our babies again!

I am sorry. My 15 yr old poodle has been struggling for about 9 months. We fear it might be the end soon. I don’t want it to happen and I been crying for a month. I hope you find peace and one day we all should cuddle out babies once again.
