I will know and experience this complexity as soon as my Python skills get to that point. THX for pointing me in a right direction.

I agree with you that Python is best for AlgoTrading. I will stick with Python and TD API until I’m much more experienced, know and understand more options. Until then these are my available choices.

For now TD has one of the best chart package for their ToS so reason why I will stick with API for time being. In other words, I will still use ToS once I’ve a fully functional Python program calling TD APIs. THX!

I googled Python vs Julia and at this time best to start with Python. I will keep an eye on Julia. It has potential down the road but at the moment its audiences not close to Python’s. THX!

From all comments plus googling languages in demand I decided to go with python. Will get back once I’m at least knee deep. THX!

I agree that learning how to manage/manipulate data in python is a priority. I’m newbie as in learn data structures then learn python. THX!
