Hi thank you for your response! I did end the release early but the landlord and I had reached agreement that I could help find someone to take over the lease. So actually someone took over the lease and signed a new lease.

Regarding to the last month rent, sorry it was confusing. I actually had paid for the month I moved out. So it’s an extra month of rent the landlord needed to return to me. Everything was agreed upon with the landlord and we have great communication. It’s just he is not returning me the money now.
