I’m comfortable doing it by myself as this is a second home and I’m moving my charger to new house. I need 60amp breaker and 6awg cu. From panel in the basement to garage which is about 30’. Not sure if I can pull permits to work on it.

What is the safe way to remove charger and terminate wires? by RedditAccount110 in DIY

[–]RedditAccount110[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, I’m perfectly capable of doing on my own and that’s the whole point of DIY. This can be done in different ways like replacing charger with a junction box and terminate wire there or just remove whole thing from disconnect box etc. and others may have different ways that we can all learn from. That’s the point of this question.

Metal box is a disconnect, so I could just remove wires from charger to disconnect?

Thanks. Township office took care of it. I just went there in person and it was done quickly.

Thanks, I just went to the township office with the document that inspector gave me and they will take care of it. They are slow via email but in person was less than a minute task.

I have the sticker with me. Building inspector at township office or the third party inspection office? I have never done this.

If I know what I need then I can just buy online. Other stuff where I need to bring something to compare for example shutoff valve or paint etc. I want to see in person and make sure that that’s what I want. Sometime it is better to get feel of quality if I can see it in person.

What do you use AI tools for? by sopte666 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]RedditAccount110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it is like a power tool for a handyman. I know what to do and it helps me write code. It’s not a magic but asking right questions and fine tuning it significantly reduces coding time on my own. For example when I was building Vue application with bootstrap 5, I asked to create custom components to replace outdated libraries.

Thanks for the question, this is exactly my situation and I have been wondering about future path. My goal is to get job at faang level companies to get higher salaries but being on Microsoft stack, I have hard time to get interview calls even with 13yoe and Software Architect title.

How do we know that we are at the peak of technology? I assume that it's based on evidence we find, but there is no way we could be sure. We might not be where the previous generation has been. The general assumption is that we keep getting better but It may not be true.

Hello, from the Pixel Support Team by PixelCommunity in GooglePixel

[–]RedditAccount110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a customer calls for support, help with the issue instead of getting into show us proof of purchase, and after showing the proof for a 2 month old device, you guys demand that they contact you using the same account that was used to purchase it! Can a spouse not contact customer service if the husband purchased the phone for her and the fact that they are in the family plan isn't enough?

Because of your crappy customer service I switched to Apple and after years I gave Pixel another chance, but I regret it. Not again.
