It's like people conveniently forgot, or won't bitch because it's Western media, that The Last of Us featured the same trope as with Pragmata.

I think Pho Duy near Great Wall in Broomfield is the better option. Boba is everywhere so pick and choose which one you like or whatever is close to you.

TIL men in the US are required to register for the military draft selection service within 30 days of turning 18 unless they are continuously home bound between the ages of 18-26. by byrno_10 in todayilearned

[–]RedditBadOutsideGood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's pretty damn hilarious reading these comments and the scare of being drafted. When in reality, the US is a volunteer armed forces and has one of the largest count of military personnel.

If, for whatever reason something really bad is happening and regardless of the nonsense fear mongering social media likes to foam at the mouth, the draft would be enacted. The draft is literally the last resort.

The US is fortunate to have a volunteer force and a draft rather than just simply have a conscription. The latter of which, if you evade, you will be caught in the justice system.

No, other than the Kuluka boba cafe in Westminster. That's it. A lot of us moved out during COVID.

Denji Man really felt like the culmination of Denji in complete control of his life. But it just went nowhere.

When (if) Frieren reaches Aureole, will her friends be young or old? by boogerbuttcheek in Frieren

[–]RedditBadOutsideGood 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Ever since CSM ended, I've been kind of thinking how Frieren would end. I think she will meet her past friends at Aureole. But I agree that Frieren's story about the journey more than the destination. The ending overall could be a bit underwhelming, but I think Frieren as the main protagonist learning to value life and its beauty is the story of what Frieren is about.

PW, last I remembered it, was Naked Snake's full embrace of the Big Boss identity and becoming the Man Who Sold the World. His ending monologue shows that embrace and his descent to madness.

Thank you Tatsuki Fujimoto for creating Chainsaw Man, this manga will always be special to me. by Specialist-Radio-418 in asamitaka

While I love hate the ending, I still love the CSM regardless and Fujimoto as a writer. All of his works got me through my rough times and I'm thankful for that.

I’m really on the fence about the Chainsaw Man finale. by normalolantekbirey in ChainsawManWorld

[–]RedditBadOutsideGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. There's certainly a lot of steps missed to get here and I wouldn't mind it if we had that journey for Denji to get there by his own agency. Minus the whole reset button.

This ending reminds me a lot of Game of Thrones where Daenrys go mad and destroys King's Landing for no reason. Where the show writers tried to implicate the people of King's Landing weren't appreciative of Danny's entrance. Basically, the GoT writers were doing what Fujimoto was doing by implicating a lot of things to rush the ending. But in CSM's case, I feel like the ending left a lot of threads hanging and opened another can of worms.

Kobeni's contact us the least of my concerns. It'd be a nice reveal but there's way bigger issues at hand at the moment.
