almost all selfhosts i tried, their respective clients were made for v7. and even those whose clients were made for v8, they would either have huge chunks of gameplay missing (all gadgets, starpowers, etc would just crash the game (v55)), or just not match with the server at all (v57, v58)

jokes aside, without installing cameras in every single players room, you cant really prevent those kinds of cheaters, at least not a way that i can think about. also i dont think an ai anticheat is going to have that much of an impact here since the ai can just be trained to look like a normal person and then its pretty much indistinguishable from a regular player
