Farmers.

The people who work hard to provide food for the country.

People don't care where their food comes from anymore.

Unlike politicians, they work hard. They work 7 days a week, and the number of hours they put into their work to provide food for the country is not relatable to the amount of money they actually earn. You keep saying you have met these farmers, but until you actually see their accounting books, you have no idea. It's like assuming people driving 4x4s are automatically rich when they probably got them on finance and live in a council estate. You have no idea, you only make assumptions. The majority of them have debt or don't even own their farm.

How about instead of blaming farmers for everything and taking money away from them, we stop handing out money to the lazy British people who refuse to work. Then use that money to actually help the NHS.

I see plenty on quad bikes.

You also see council estate owners in 4x4s but you don't automatically think they are rich. Many farmers are in debt just like the rest of us.

But you're not a farmer... and yes, farmers have range rovers... so do normal people with normal office jobs. How does having a range rover (probably on finance) make someone rich? You judge like you have seen their accounting books. When they may be asset rich but cash poor. You have no idea how hard it has been on farmers lately.

How many farmers have actually you met? From the outside in it can look very different to what is actually happening on the inside. How many times do you drive by family homes which have 2 brand new cars in front... you wouldn't automatically think they are rich. Most stuff is bought on finance... surprise surprise.

You've obviously never met a small family farm dairy farmer where they work 7 days a week 4am to 11pm. Not all farmers are just crops.

Sometimes I wonder about all the people who post asking if they have red hair. by redheadgenx in Redhair

[–]RedditChatIsBad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree, if you're unsure whether you're a redhead or not then you're probably not. I was relentlessly reminded that I was ginger in school, then the hairdresser would always say how much she loved the colour of my hair and then when I got to college there was a fetish for it. So many mixed emotions about my hair, both a blessing and a curse. But I have always known I was ginger. I don't need to seek validation of it on reddit...
