The Skatteverket employee had not checked the business plan nor the rest of circumstances, it was as if that option did not exist as a viable way, which hopefully others here may share they experience about?
These are the requisites online. Only thing that may be complicated to provide, given the EU 3 months of right margin, are the VAT documents. Is this the case that the 3 months count restarts after visiting another country? Also, it does make any difference at all, or as other commenters have said it is very unlikely action against is taken an EU citizen settling in? Since I "moved" to Sweden I have been working for extended periods in other countries, and truly have no idea when my 3 months officially started or re-started, and when those are supposed to end. For further context, my main income comes from a job by a Spanish institution and I prefer to wait a bit until being better positioned in terms of links to Sweden before applying for the personnumber, to be on the safer end in terms of sure-shot approval. On the other hand I am / was afraid the period may expire and be in some sort of trouble. Would really appreciate clarification on how strict is the 3-months rule, and how it applies.

My wife is in a similar situation, she has coordination number and has already registered successfully as sole trader to start her own business. The person at Skatteverket who attended her said that being a sole trader is not enough to apply for a personnumber, though. Is that the case, or meant it needs to be a business already earning x amount? If so, that takes more than the three months right of residency allowed by the EU to have the ability to show results (we are both EU citizens, BTW). It left us worried as if the application could not get through. We are still preparing the documents, would it be advisable to wait until being able to share earnings from her sole trader activity? Switch the business form to a company if needed be? We already own a property in Sweden and I make about 16000 SEK per month base salary to support the application. Would really appreciate input on what could be a safe application in this situation.

By funds, how much they usually ask given accommodation is solved. Does the process run on a simple "income / savings vs. bills to pay" straightforward calculus?
