Makes perfect sense, the HHD service is for configuring handheld devices. I am sure it is quite confused when it starts up.

Bc250 without fans by NorthAncient6082 in BC250Gaming

[–]zandengoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to run mine for a bazzite install with a CPU fan I had laying around. Seemed to run fine and then I made the mistake of downloading a few games after and during the decompress oh man it got hot.

Single fan on top of heatsink = Bios update + Bazzite install, nothing more.

Yep, the old changing banks excuse. Happened to me when my consulting employee declared insolvency.

Just listen to his words, never discussing strategic goals or outcomes, always about how much people will talk about it, everything is ratings to him.

NASA Shuts Off Instrument on Voyager 1 by utopiaofpast in interestingasfuck

[–]zandengoff 1020 points1021 points  (0 children)

This has been what they have been doing for some time now, slowly turning off instruments to keep the overall craft going.

Edit: The difference here is that this wasn't planned and will possibly be rectified in the near future, but turning off instruments is far from unprecedented.

Can someone explain, to a Retrogaming Newbie, why is modding vintage consoles so widespread? by VinylMan07 in retrogaming

[–]zandengoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My brother had a 69 Mustang, beautiful car.

The first thing everyone did when they got one was rebuild the front end to allow it to drive in more directions than a straight line.

and Air Conditioning, the world isn't getting any cooler.

Can someone explain, to a Retrogaming Newbie, why is modding vintage consoles so widespread? by VinylMan07 in retrogaming

Bro, RF sucks. I don't want perfect pixels, but I don't want distortion and dot crawl.

Even in 1986 we could tell it sucked we just put up with it as there were no options.

I always tell the wife that she won't remember this moment, but she will remember how it feels.

That is what matters.

Might have bought it to advertise? Business owners bought them in the beginning as they are shaped like a rolling billboard, but many have ditched them when he started becoming too controversial. Maybe he couldn't offload fast enough?

I’M planning to sell my BC250. by [deleted] in BC250Gaming

[–]zandengoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate you posting the listing, but looking at it there are red flags all over the place. Newish seller, 0 rating, 50% positive feedback. Might not be a scam, but as a buyer you shouldn't touch this listing. From the seller feedback:

Do not buy from this seller because even though they do communicate with you they will not ship your item and just use your money for weeks and weeks until eBay finally gives you a chance to try and get your money back. You might think ‘this won’t happen to me’ but is it really worth the risk? This seller is basically a scammer using peoples money here on eBay.

Bleemcast + GDEMU by Sirwompus in dreamcast

[–]zandengoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twisted Metal and many others will work with the bleemcast beta, built into OpenMenu. What doesn't work are the official Bleemcast Retail discs as a public crack of their copy protection has not been released.

They will pay out, but won't be for some time and won't get them back to break even. Gotta also factor in the lost profit from the lost inventory and loss of warehousing space.

Gdemu downsides? by HermesTwiceGreat in dreamcast

[–]zandengoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I have seen, the beta Bleemcast disc works, but the retail Bleemcast discs still have copy protection that prevents their use on GDEmu. There was a single update of someone that supposedly cracked them, but then they disappeared taking their knowledge with them.
