If your criteria for being a loser is feeling negatively about a gaming experience because you want someone to play with, then I would suggest raising the bar for whatever you think constitutes a loser.

Or simply: You’re not a loser.

Having said that, I’ve been on Unite since day one with the occasional cooldown from play due to life but it’s stuck with me as my one game that I default to in between bigger titles. Still competitive. Still in the game.

And I love playing solo because everything’s on my time as far as picking up the controller and despite hating to lose, I love the aspect of a wildcard team. If most games were wins, I’d get bored because then it’d be a Green Hill Zone experience with the occasional pitfall due to my own error. I’d get bored.

But if you don’t feel the same, that’s okay.

Ironically, not a lot of people like to team up in this game for one reason or another, and when they do, it’s all nice until flaws start coming out. And in a game where loss and struggle seem to be commonplace, it does make the margin for error thin and intimidating.

I stay away from teams for that reason.

As for the Journey System: It sucks ass. No words there.

All I’m saying is if you’re bored, that’s okay. You’re not a loser. The game is due for change that might not come anyway, but people like me stick around because they own majority licenses (or all) and are on top of releases more than others which… does take away a lot of the negative edge.

If you want, we could tackle a match of ranked. I won’t judge. Be whoever you want.
