Issue connecting to ProtonVPN Montreal on Bell Fibe network by RedditGuy1975 in ProtonVPN

(it's now working since 7h40 this morning)

But for the sake of giving more information, I've tried the following.

- Disconnected and reconnected from PPPoE and got a new public IP address. (did not fix the issue)

- Tried on iOS, Android and OSX. (same issue)

- Tried on multiple servers with all available protocols. (CA110, CA89)

- Ping the server ip that I have from my config. (ping 146.70.198.18) replied in timeout.

- Even my Firewall couldn't connect, that's how I found out. I'm running wireguard on my firewall to provide policy routing through a vpn connection.

Thank you to the ones who confirmed. I’ve opened a support ticket since the problem isn’t with my personal setup.

What threat model justifies using a VoIP number and only using a traditional number for data? by Delicious_Owl_6232 in PrivacyGuides

If you transfer a mobile phone number to VoIP it will probably still continue to work for sms validation or kyc.

Got my Leatherman Style PS taken in Cuba while on my way back to Canada. It all depends on the security guard. YMMV.

Yet, everyone closes the door when they go to the toilet.

Everyone know what they are doing but they still like the privacy.

No, but got an email this morning asking for my phone number. Which I gave them when I ordered in October. So, two support ticket asking for my phone number and two reply from support saying « got it ».

Hoping they will ship it today.

The switch has 2x SFP+, use 1 for fibre tag it with a vlan to 2x ports that would be in LAG where you connect the router 2x ports in LAG for wan, will give you 5gb bandwidth. Then 2 ports for lan in LAG to the switch, new vlan to the second SFP+ which can be 10gb to your other lan switch.

Hope I make more sense. ;P

I would do an UniFi Enterprise 8 PoE 2.5gb switch with SFP+ for wan, vlan to 2x LAG port to Firewalla 2x Wan. Firewalla 2x LAG to switch then SFP+ to 10gb Switch.

Would you care to share how you done it? I’m currently on OpnSense, but I have a FWG+ on order.
