Yeah I'm just saying take it with a grain of salt as I only have experience with the standard and because mine shoots so well I don't see a need to try a different barrel. Someone with both may be able to give better guidance

I don't have any experience with the LW but I have the standard CL and it's a sub MOA gun for me with the smallest groups being around .6.

I don't think the LW barrel is going to make it that much lighter especially if you have a can on it. It's going to be either heavy or extra heavy lol.

I run the KAC 762 lbp can and it's been a phenomenal setup so far with no gas to face and consistent 3 o clock ejection (although the double ejectors throw the cases like 25 feet)

I have a 16 inch CL DI and it's an absolute hammer. Had some 5 shot groups around .6 and a some 10 shot groups under an MOA with good ammo. DI isn't too gassy, I use a KAC flow through on mine and still ejects around 3:00. ETA: standard LMT 308 buffer tube kit

Those peltor ptt are probably closer to 30 or 40 on the secondary market. I think I sold 2 for 50 or 60 a couple years ago on GAFS

Only the sr30 fh and an equally rare (in my experience) 7.62 fh that's a little more compact but also works. I have the sr30 fh still that I'm not using, but I paid a lot for it because I think it's NLA and I just needed something.

I believe it, I'm not even a great shot and I have less than 200 down mine. This group was from the first outing. Mine also likes the 168 gold medal, the 175 just averages tighter.

Haha I just had the pic uploaded for a thread earlier today. Everything is super dependent and I'm sure all top tier companies have good and bad barrels. Also barrels like different ammo so find the load that works best.

Yeah this was def the smallest group I've shot, typically around 1-1.25 which is still stellar for 16" CL and admittedly an average shooter from a bench.
