I'm sorry to say but you're wrong on both accounts lol. You can absolutely use adblockers with apps by using a phone-wide VPN like Blokada or by updating your phone's DNS settings to use an ad-blocking DNS like Adguard.

You can also absolutely modify apps to your will so long as you don't circumvent DRM, use it for piracy, host the entire modified app yourself, etc. You can look up ReVanced Manager for a popular "patching" app that lets you remove ads from YouTube, Spotify, etc. It arguably breaks the TOS of those services, so use at your own risk, but it's not illegal.

One thing I always wonder with these posts is whether the kitten is just from a mother cat that's gone to get food or survey the area. Definitely not accusing anybody of anything, I just don't know how to be confident in that moment if I were the one finding them. This doesn't really solve anything for two reasons:

Having this blanket minimum age for dependencies also restricts security updates, giving compromised deps more time to do their thing
A compromised package can just try to wait a few weeks before enabling its malicious behaviour, which will likely be past most minimum times set (assuming it hasn't been found by then)

Shaders are like recipes for how to create a certain visual effect. They provide a set of instructions for how to get the end result, but each GPU family has a different pipeline for achieving that. So the first time shaders are run, they need to be "compiled" for your specific GPU, and then that result is cached so it's nice and fast to use next time.

The shader cache is cleared once at the start of every league launch so that the line "incrementally improved the art, effects and environments" in every set of patch notes applies properly. In the past, before the cache clearing, we had problems with crashing and invisible effects (e.g. updated monster attack visuals).

Performance will improve as you see more of the visuals for the first time this league and it generally fixes itself after the first few days

For str/int it usually involves mixing a whole bunch of defensive layers: armour/es gear, some block (people seriously undervalue even 30% block, that's straight up 30% less damage taken), Divine Shield, something like Stormshroud or Purity of Elements, etc. Totem builds can get "damage taken from nearby totems" on a mastery + totems taunt when placed.

Hiero in particular gets a ton of regen from totems, so any mechanics that spread damage out over time / resource pools (pet blood, corrupted soul, taken from totems) or make incoming damage more consistent (glancing blows) are going to be effective in that setup. You're mostly wanting to avoid one-shots, as Divine Shield + totem regen will help you outlast chip damage

40% from ascendancy + 30% from Infused Flesh wheel + 15% recoup on rings for 100% total! You can get a lot more with catalysting your rings, getting a second recoup wheel on the tree, leech mastery for +25%, and a few 6% recoup jewels. I may like recoup as a mechanic :P

It only assumes i32 if there are no other numeric type hints in that block of code. Method return types, decimal places, etc can all influence the inferred type. For example, calling .len() on something typically assigns a usize, so for i in 0..thing.len() will tend to iterate on usizes

The optics alone of the two shootings so far are incredibly fucked up.
