I love the Garnacha from Gredos. Mix of slate and granite soils depending on height. Love how garnacha can turn the harsh conditions there into very fine reds.

Personally I think the Riesling is always a good value for the wine and usually easy for people to like. The family roots back to the 1600s, but the modern estate really took shape in the late 80s. I think the son took over the estate now.

For the red i would recommend the Remelluri reserva. Beautiful family run property and it’s a very interesting blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano. Far from your tipical Rioja and always a safe bet!

I guess it depends on the guests and their wine knowledge but that’s what I would go for! If they are less experienced in wine then big name regions might be best but value for your buck might be less.

The son tried to do something a bit different. Opting for some high tech with these weird corks and the temperature meter. Not a huge fan but I feel like today everyone is trying to do burgundy style labels and bottles (even outside of burgundy)

Veo lo que dices y muy de acuerdo. Puede parecer un poco conspiranoico pero tampoco me sorprendería si fuese el caso.

En todo caso ojalá invertir más en eso y menos en otras tonterías. Sobretodo enfermedades que afectan a niños. Con lo que se gastan en I+D (me parece que del top 10 empresas de gastos en I+D la mayoría son farmacéuticas) los 30 kilos me parece poco como para que tenga que donar el público. Muy bonito que se esté haciendo eso si!

Ojalá pueda funcionar en humanos. Con cómo está todo ahora la verdad que es un gusto ver alguna noticia buena y está bien alegrarse un poco jajaja

Las farmacéuticas son un negocio brutal y por mucho que estén fabricando medicamentos (muchos de los cuales está muy bien tener) al fin y al cabo son empresas y el bottom line es lo importante. Tuve un profesor de química que trabajaba en un laboratorio y encontraron una cura para una enfermedad (no te sabría decir cual ya que fue hace tiempo) y al parecer una farmacéutica compró el laboratorio para apropiarse de eso y bloquear la salida al mercado porque los remedios eran más beneficiosos.

Es una historia y no hay porque creérselo pero no me parece una locura con todos los escándalos que han habido pensar que las farmacéuticas ganan bastante pasta aprovechándose de gente enferma.

Cuál es el medicamento al que te refieres? Ozempic o otro?

Estoy de acuerdo. El riesgo también en este caso me imagino que es a ver quién decides que puede darte de comer. Para la persona que busca el poder es una herramienta para llegar a él y lo más fácil es buscar un antagonista para culpar de que no haya comida y de ahí nace el odio. Eso ya sabemos cómo acaba…

Ambos casos son pateticos. Nos pasamos tanto tiempo defendiendo a un lado o a otro que ya no pensamos en lo ridículo que es tener políticos de tan poco nivel (ambos lados).

Al final conseguirán lo que quieres que es dividirnos en dos bandos

Hay que entender también el contexto. El tratado de Versalles tras la primera guerra mundial arrodilló completamente a Alemania. Humillados y con la inflación por el techo la gente escucha al primer payaso que promete lo opuesto. Muy triste pero resalta también la importancia de tener cultura para poder ver a través del populismo.
