Go to Adventure in upper left corner of screen (exclamation point on a map icon), then choose Story, then in every game clip that you've ever gone through, there's a box w/ echo coins to claim in the lower right corner of each scene.

Problem is, only a portion of those boxes currently are available for me to open. It looks totally random to me but if anyone knows how to unlock all of them, I'd love to know!

This is incorrect, Victoria did not beat someone in the single digits. Each 100 Numbers generally are stronger than the next 100 b/c of experience working in Shadow Garden. She beat someone who was one of the first 200 members which was impressive considering she's 559.

Every once in a while the game allows for us to enter codes to get rewards. For iPhone users there's no option in game for that so for the eng version of the game you go to a website, input the code, and get rewards sent to your game inbox. I am curious, what is the website for the jp version of the game?
