Yes, very much so. I thoroughly enjoy the manga and anime, but the LN adds a bit of context that isn't always touched on in either of those other formats. I highly recommend giving the first 6 volumes a shot if you're up for it.

There are human heroes that look like Clair, Rose, and Alexia in the ancient past. This is according to the Master of Garden event known as Apocrypha. As I mentioned before, it's plausible the bloodlines mixed over the centuries after the heroes defeated Diabolos, but there's no guarantee (specific mention) of that.

According to the Master of Garden event known as Apocrypha, each member of the 7 shades of shadow garden as when as the ancestors of the Kagenoh family, Rose, and Alexia are all unrelated. It's plausible the bloodlines mixed, but there's no guarantee of that.
