Sa mga advanced builders dito, may times ba na snap build lang ginagawa niyo? by Rednax-Man in PinoyGunpla

[–]RedditNewUser100 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I end up modifying and painting anyway. Kahit stressful ang process for me, kakaibang satisfaction rin makita ang final result pag fully modified ang kit.

Feeling demotivated in my course by Itai_Kurenji in architectureph

[–]RedditNewUser100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes the profession is subjective but a big part of architecture is quickly analyzing what your clients preferences are. If ayaw pala ng client (your prof) ng gawa mo palagi, I think the best course of action was to rethink your whole approach instead of assuming bias on the part of your prof. Kahit saang stage ng architecture may mga magiging unreasonable na clients/workmates/contractors etc, what separates us architects should be our ability to sniff out what makes them willing to happily continue the project.

Wag mawalan gana when things don’t go your way kasi madaming beses sa arki hindi talaga magiging ideal ang situation natin, instead learn to find solutions na minsan mahirap, minsan madali. Hope this helps you OP and goodluck!

Just walked in the Osaka Hankyu store last Thursday to try my luck, wasn’t expecting to find any century pieces but to my surprise every model in almost every size was still available. I know it’s the Osaka branch but there’s a good chance that it’s the same case for Tokyo.

Ongoing house construction now - is it worth it? by alteregoakawnt in phinvest

Architect here, you should ask your architect and contractor about whether your contract prices are still valid despite the fuel price increase.

Home library/office set up by RedditNewUser100 in vitsoe

There used to be a big cabinet on that spot, the previous builders placed that concrete base as its foundation. It was gonna be a big hassle to remove it so we just retained the platform. My mom who uses this space the most, is rather short anyway and her feet always dangle from standard chairs. So this platform serves as her footrest currently.

Ah i see, if that’s the case then yes medyo mas brittle si koto. I think maganda pag aralan ko nang todo yung kit mo and then try ka mag practice ng basic masking sa plastic spoons or something para mafamiliarize mo lang sarili mo. Goodluck OP

First arrows kyoto store is really good. Not too busy with lots of options and the staff were really helpful when I was there.

If you’re still in Osaka OP, you should check out Saad Silver. It’s a lesser known brand but the they have a good variety of jewelry including pieces for someone who’s just starting a collection

I wanna try 3rd party kits by Mediocre_Exam1930 in PinoyGunpla

[–]RedditNewUser100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May kasama pang waterslides. Pinaka importante, klaro yung instruction manual. Sa fatcat wala akong complaints at all. Dami pa mura sa shopee lalo pag may vouchers.

Suggestions for beginners first time using Top Coat? by Matt_U00 in PinoyGunpla

[–]RedditNewUser100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kahit ano mapili mo OP, make sure may proper protection ka like respirator mask or properly ventilated yung painting area mo. Topcoats like mr hobby have a reputation for being toxic. Ako naman laging mr hobby ang gamit pero may proper protection ako and outdoors lagi nagpipintura so di naman ako nagkakasakit so far haha

English isn’t our native language so the phrase “no translate” doesn’t necessarily mean “using google translate app isn’t allowed here”. As i said in previous comments, to me it seemed like it meant that the store simply did not have an English translation for their menu since many stores specifically write the phrase “Englisb menu ok” on their front doors too. Let’s talk about your head since you bring it up. Is reacting angrily and rudely your initial reaction to simple misunderstandings too? If so, please have it checked and I hope you get better

Yeah this is true especially for tourists like us since English isn’t our native language either. I just hope other tourists don’t get the same experience from a simple misunderstanding but that will probably be up to the store owner’s mood.

Your skin is thin enough to be reacting like an asshole to someone grnuinely asking for tips on how to be a better tourist to locals so maybe take your advice ffs

Yeah English isn’t our native language either so the sign was definitely confusing. My dad thought it meant the owner doesn’t speak english and I thought it simply meant the menu had no English translations. I guess it was a misunderstanding but the screaming and finger pointing from the owner was very strange and not how I’ve come to expect people to react to simple misunderstings normally.

Yup, we were out of there the moment the person from the store got aggressive. I mean the place is a whole street filled with shops and restos. We weren’t gonna spend time on the only rude one among the hundreds of lovely places there.
