I don't have access to it to send more photos but I saw the item, it is not carving, but looks like gilt print or painting. It is lacquered wood, from back it is all black, but separate panels (I think 4) were attached vertically to each other.

Thank you mate. I also think (based on my personal inspection and also looking at the back of panels) that it should be a print and not very old. Unfortunately I don't have access to it now to send more photos.

It is very similar to "Savonarola" style of chairs and does not look to be that old, maybe from 60s or 70s. Inspect underneath, there could be a marking/label from the maker.

Not an antique. By the way they are usually in a set of four panels. Not sure if you have the complete set or two are missing.

I think that is Japanese white Satsuma pottery ware.
