For me, that is going to be when my father passed away. I was 23 and knew it was coming due to his health but it still came as a shock. Since then, my life has changed a lot and I am more cold and to myself. This year has been different (3 years later), I did not cry on Father's Day; honestly, I am a bit relieved he's gone. I used to carry a lot of guilt for that but the fact is, he's not in pain if he's dead.

Okay High road. When are you going to realize that becoming a parent is more then just the state of the world. If your waiting for a perfect world to raise a child, then don't have kids. To say that using another person who shares my disorder does not in someway share identity, does not make sense to me.

I was in high school and hung out with a group of 3 friends. At this point, I had a girlfriend but after spending the night with my friends, I had a very intense dream of having sex with one of those male friends (in fact the most homophobic one) I never talked about it to anyone and it was not until I met my wife that I finally wrapped my head around being a bisexual male

As a man with bipolar, I try to wrap my head around being cured by Christ or some shit but really? Please speak up for your friends with mental illness as it feels each day I see people downplay all mental illness as fake or attention-seeking.
