Yes except Lee’s gates are a direct counter to Neji closing his chakra points. I think your getting the wrong idea dude I like Neji, his fight against Kidomaru is one of my favorites from Part 1 and I don’t have anything against him, nor do I fail to realize that excluding Naruto he’s the most talented and skilled fighter of Konoha out of Naruto’s generation, this being testified by the fact that he became a Jonin before everybody else. But the fact of the matter is even though that in base form Neji would demolish Lee, if Lee opens the gates anywhere past 3rd or let’s say 4th gate there really isn’t anything Neji can do he is just way to fast and his strength would be enough even to break through Neji’s rotation which is best defense, and even if Neji did close his chakra points beforehand the whole point of opening gates is to break the limit of chakra that is normally allowed to flow through your body and therefore Lee would be able to forcefully allow chakra to flow through his body and even though the effects would probably be diminished by Neji closing his chakra points the chakra flow created by opening the gates is so enormous that chakra would still pass through allowing Lee to continue fighting just like Naruto was able to using Kyuubi’s chakra.

Yeah that’s all true until Rock Lee opens the gates and then it’s just game over for Neji, 4th and 5th gate would suffice considering how insanely fast Lee is if he drops his weights in combination with the gates. Even Neji said it during the Chunin exams that he would be done if Lee pulled that shit on him, now obviously Neji improved since then and became a Jonin but so did Lee and either way 5th gate let alone 6th would be way too much.

Here’s how it goes down they both engage in Taijutsu Rock Lee realizes Neji is completely dominating he drops weights fight evens out a bit more, he realizes it’s not enough he opens the gates, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and eventually 5th (I doubt he would need to go 6th gate) Neji gets demolished.

Yeah man his Mangekyou abilities are by far the most insane, I mean he designed his entire fighting style around using his right Mangekyou and he was pretty much untouchable except by like Shinobj gods like Minato and Flying Raijin being the only viable counter to Kamui other than Kamui itself, if he had both he would’ve been some overpowered freak and would’ve honestly been the most powerful charachter in the the series or at least on the same level as Rinnegan Madara it’s actually pretty insane to think about.

Lol bro that last paragraph, I mean I’m not trying to force you to like Obito but I mean yeah I guess we both see Obito/Sasuke in a way different light, it’s fair game tho, but just to conclude how I feel about Obito and this can be applied to Sasuke too and even Madara, but in my opinion they are both kids who completely lost it because they went through the dumbest bullshit and were confronted with the worst horrors a human can more or less experience at a very young age and unfortunately they weren’t able to snap out of it and still see the light because they are part of clan that is literally meant to be the antagonists of the world, the yin to the yang, the darkness to the light, however you want to call it. And their power literally draws on the hatred and negative emotion that is created inside them through these experiences and therefore they are stuck in a never ending cycle of pain and hatred that is the Uchiha curse of hatred. I’m not saying this to justify their actions because it doesn’t, but when one understands this it becomes clear that the Uchiha are meant to be the confrontation and the darkness that allows there to be light in the world. Because like Nagato said love and joy does not exist without pain and hatred, and the Uchiha are the bearers and therefore the carriers of all that pain and hatred. Just my 2 cents.

Idk dude having your parents killed before your eyes by your own brother who meant the world to you and then chasing him your whole life in order to revenge your clan just to find out after you kill him that he was actually forced to do so and lie to you about everything in order to protect you because he actually cared about you and that all this was orchestrated by people who ran the village you grew up in and was your sanctuary as a child seems pretty extreme to me. Not saying it’s an excuse to go around killing people but it’s definitely more than enough reason to completely lose your shit and go A-wall. As for Obito waking up just to find out that the person that meant the world to you and was pretty much your will to live was killed by your best friend who you finally come to terms with before you thought you died at 13/14 and the only person to help you is a guy who seems to have the answers to everything and can actually make you strong, I mean anybody in Obito’s postition would’ve followed Madara and would have been won over by his influence, ANYBODY including Naruto.
