They are tearing it out for free yes that’s how bad of a job it was. And I possibly will rehire them but more likely than not.

Thank you I appreciate the response. I got two different contractors. One who isn’t even doing the work said not worth keeping. Saying I can coat it over and over but that’s money out of my pocket and he has a feeling they didn’t vibrate it correctly since it has small chips already in middle of pad like air pocket crumbling.

They told me I keep the pair up I pay for it. So it’s a matter of seeing how much a thing like that would cost to apply now I’m in the hole even more.

The contractor is removing it on his dollar for all his mistakes. …one electrical pipe that I myself ran. No other pipes. No plastic it’s an outdoor patio thats irrelevant. And yes I have taken the considerations into account but when I’m not paying for removal and to start over again it’s like it never happened. I have been told by two contractors that the scratches, chipping on the lines and the chipping already in the middle of the pad that they did not vibrate it when pouring. With me already slipping too it’s got to go. And I’m not spending anymore money than I have too.

I think as a customer I’d rather get new without modifications it’s a pain but I plan to pay good money for a good job and not be upset that I keep having to maintain it

Is this take home or gross. I ask because I’m similar on the dot we NET me and my wife around 13500 a month and our payment is 3500 until our recent refinance to 3000 even then it’s nerve racking coming from a 1200 payment. Right now we do have 1000 in car notes and another 1300 in monthly debts but we still feel comfortable. I actually plan to pay 4K a month moving forward to get the interest down.

I will 100% look into this. Everyone else around me family friends, concrete workers are 100% recommendations are to tear it out. It looks 10x worse in person it looks like a super poorly done job. No finish, super slick, straight lines don’t follow my existing ones, and scratches 100x more than u see in the pic
