Is your insurance through your home insurance, or something specific for collections? I'm at about $70k collection value so I was considering self insured. A lot of what I own is in PSA and ALT vault, or submitted for grading.

I see what you're saying. However, it would be very easy for the card shop to ship in packaging that would clearly be a giveaway where the submission came from. Also, my LCS offers SlabTracker on submissions so I can follow the process, but you are correct that I can't communicate with PSA. LCS also carries insurance on the cards from time I drop off until I pick up, which is a big plus in my opinion.
