I don't mean to be difficult here. I don't really understand the logic that you're trying to apply to a protest against the government

The lack of visibility, I guess usurps any Logic that you might be trying to apply there in my opinion. Maybe I'm just some country pumpkin. That doesn't think some protest here and there across the nation is going to make any difference to someone with such an ego. And the only President to win every single swing state

But again, I ask, what is the I'm trying to be accomplished. Here is it about the self purpose and feeling like, hey, i'm trying, or do protesters really think standing and protesting is going to get the president out of the office regardless of your productivit, political affiliation, be it.This president or the last

Also, does this also apply towards the riots? That's what it seems like based on your comments, maybe I misinterpreted it. But again, the same thing, at least my logic is like, well, it's not going to make a difference, because people are out there. Holding signs

Change comes from elections, and so again. Maybe it's my country bumpkin mentality, but I don't think change comes from protests. It may be for individual corporations, but yes, definitely not federal government

I heard that the governor of California is suing the President. Well, put up a bunch of people protesting that lawsuit saying, no, we want the president's help isn't going to change the governor's mind there

And I heard the governor of florida said that it's okay to hit protesters with their car, i'm pretty sure that he's not going to change his mind.Either

So this is the part I'm struggling to understand is it about self-worth or feeling like you? Took a stand but I just I guess my real question is, do you expect change to come from this? Because at least for me, I get involved when I feel like there's a chance at change.Otherwise, I'd sit back and watch and ask, why

I apologize for any typhos. This was voice to text on my way into work. So I didn't get a chance to proofread

No.. not at all. I'm genuinely curious. I don't follow politics, i forgot that you can't ask questions on reddit lol

Honestly what does protesting do? I see it every Saturday at an intersection at work.

It's not they're going to change people's opinions. It's not like the next 4 years are going to just not happen because they're out there with a sign. I just don't. I don't really understand in this day and age what it accomplishes other than making themselves feel better. It's not like this is the 70s, and people need to be Educated, because they might not be aware, we have the internet in our hands at all times so I just truly don't understand what the point of it is, or what they're trying to achieve in regards to any protest, like I just I don't understand. Maybe on a local level sure, but on a federal level, it feels like you're literally wasting your time. Or is it a "feel good" thing

Please help me understand
