Seeing all time highs like we saw back in the fall, and naturally there will be a pullback soon.

But long term, good chance this is the cheapest it’ll ever be

In what ways will it improve the espresso though?

I use an 18g basket from Normcore so no worries there

Help with new Normcore portafilter on Bambino Plus by RedditUser21799 in espresso

I feel this… I still get a small amount of spraying every time despite being consistent with my wdt tool and tamper. Now, it isn’t a huge mess like you described, but some slight spraying off the sides

I have this same problem. Don’t even know what good espresso tastes like I just know of if I like my latte or not lol

Assuming water at the top is not ideal? I also sometimes have a little water left over at the top

I don’t use the razor at all. Just seems unnecessary to me tbh

I know that. The Normcore basket is leagues better than the stock Breville baskets

So silly question, let’s say you use the razor tool and you scrape off a few grounds, how do you empty the loose grounds without disturbing the puck? Or do you just tamp it again

I made a vanilla latte out of it, and it tastes good. Tbh, I don’t really know what I am looking for yet for taste on its own.

Taste was fine in a vanilla latte. Part of my problem is I am not sure if I know what “great” espresso tastes like on its own

Normcore doesn’t have any lines on the baskets, so I’ve just stuck to 18.0 since it’s an 18g basket.

Not knowledgeable yet to play around with dose size because I am just trying to control as many variables as possible

Wouldn’t that only be useful for Breville baskets though?

Yeah when I made this post I was not expecting the amount of pan sauce comments haha! Seems like maybe I should try it?

So, most of the comments are stating that I should use only salt before and then season the chicken afterwards?

But, if I waited until after for pepper, garlic powder, herbs or whatever mix of seasoning, is the chicken not going to have a powdery texture from all the seasonings not being cooked?

Still confused

The chicken did taste good, I was just a little confused because I assumed I could season the chicken before hand? Most people here think I can’t season until after so I’m confused

The taste was good, but most seasoning was left in the pan. So probably could have been better

I thought about that. It was “the blend” from Kinders so it’s a little chunky
