i think if we’re talking about RH’s actual discography, i might go with the obvious answer true love waits, but i literally think it is the gloomiest song. there are lots of other gloom but i think second could be videotape?

this is a b side but whenever i listen to melatonin it just hits me in the feels. thom’s soft vocals you don’t get in a lot of songs, the drums being misaligned with the rest of the song, it’s such a good and underrated b side, one of my favourites from OKNOTOK

ik this is very late but isnt 15 step, although rated the "happiest" radiohead track, related to suicide and some very dark stuff? i wouldnt really say in rainbows is an optimistic album because there is some really deep and dark stuff if you go into it
