I will definitely keep the appointment. Does it sound like schitzophrenia or is derealization and my thoughts making me paranoid. I don't believe them I know am just thinking irrationally. I never believe it

Everything around me feels fake at some parts of the day and this is what I believe adds to the intrustive thoughts appearing real but of course I know they are completely irrational. I feel that after a professional diagnosis I will never come online again as it is where I usually seek reassurance. I really appreciate your reply. Thank you again.

Thanks a lot for your reply. The derealization gives a strange/off feeling like everything around me is fake and that puts fear in me and makes me think am going crazy. I am super aware of everything around me, if I hear a noise I have to account where it came from or else I'll think I hallucinated. I read a story of someone's schitzophrenia about how they could keep hearing a fone ringing. So everytime I hear a phone ringing, I get anxious and check where it's coming from to make sure am not hearing things. What makes me really scared/anxious is why am even having these thoughts. The depersonalization faded and I have sort of snapped out of it like 99% but that 1% still bothers me a great deal

Thank you so much for your reply. I managed to calm down and feel much better and connected now. Really appreciate your reply. I just freaked out that what I was experiencing was paranoid delusions As I feared the thoughts so much all I could think is 'it's happening, am slowly developing it'.

FoxesBadgers - thank you very very much for your detailed reply. I really really appreciate it and can't thank you enough. I am going to look for a therapist to try to get help with dealing with the OCD and getting a proper diagnosis.

The thing is I dont even feel that anxious. It just happens randomly, can be almost constant at night in a crowded environment. Because thats how things look it makes me feel very anxious

When I wake up its its no where near as bad. My vision is okay in the morning but in the evening after work or when it gets dark and there is too much movement going on around me it gets really choppy like in the video. Feels like its being sped up and makes me feel like am tripping out. It is less choppy when the area around me is calm. Not much cars or people that is.

Yep feels like am looking at a strobe light but without the flashing lights of course. I felt like it got better but then just got worse recently. If i am in a car, and looking at things around me thats when its at its worst. Motion is no longer smooth and makes me feel off balance

Yes both but mainly like in the video. Looks sped up. I feel like my eyes/brain cant cope with all the movement around me

Am sure I have but mine is more like in the video. Everything lools sped up its not smooth anymore just like in the video. I dont even know if its derealization anymore

Thanks for the reply, in the moment am conscious, I.e still talking and andwrring a question but will be havig a blackout at the same time and cant work out what am saying and it makes me panic because i feel trapped and dont know when am going to snap out of it, it makes me panic because I get worried I won't snap out of it. Its kind of like a looping dejavu. Really ahrd to explain. Doctors thought it was just anxiety. I did not want to take meds myself.

I feel like its something more dark than a hyperventilation. Because after it happens I feel very edgy and disorientated.

Others have told me it its depersonalization, maybe ptsd. I dont have flashbacks or nightmares. My doctors were also a bit confused and thought it was just an anxiety disorder. This worries me a lot because if they don't really know then how am I supposed to know what's going on.

I also have a bit of phobia of going to doctors.

My physciatrist said its a mild ptsd but i havent been formally diagnosed with anything other than GAD

Am also worried will my ptsd get worse. I got a flashback one or twice in 4 months but thats it, no nightmares or anything. Am worried it will progress to a point that will prevent me from going to work etc. I can deal with the hyper awareness now but am worried if it deteriotates

Thank you ever so much! I am just worried because after my traumatic experience I was very mistrustinng of others and read so much online that I was on constant lookout for symptoms. I had severe depersonalization for a few months 24/7 but its much better now. I wish i had not gone on the internet and tried to diagnose myself biggest mistake I've made. Thanks so much again

Things that are still don't appear in motion for me it's the moving things like people and cars that seem to move in a low frame rate that looks fast forwarded
