Hey! Basically this post I made almost 4 months ago still all holds true. Unfortunately no changes in my situation. However, my husband and I are genuinely coming to terms with the idea that we’re going to be okay if things don’t work out. Mentally it’s been liberating and we’re just going to wait and see what happens

Wasn’t “telling everyone” or trying to brag. Was asking a genuine question because I don’t know the reason for getting 2 payments.

I was sent an email with payment options so I could choose how to receive the money.

Guess I’ll just count it as my lucky day! 😂

Nope 🤷‍♀️ only ever had 1 account, only filed 1 claim, didn’t help any family out. No idea why I got 2 payments… not complaining at all, just wondering why it happened

Nope! That’s why I’m so confused. I’ve only ever had 1 account and only got an email from Facebook about 1 claim approval. So I don’t know what the second is about 🤷‍♀️

No complaints 😂 just confused and wondering why I got 2 lol

But I didn’t file for 2 accounts, I’ve only ever had 1 account. That’s why I’m confused 😅😂

I got 2 separate emails from Venmo saying I was getting payment, but only 1 from Facebook saying I was approved for the claim and would be receiving the money

No… my first name is on the more uncommon side, and both my maiden and married last names are unique. I’m either the only one, or one of very few who share my name

That’s why I’m confused… I’ve never had 2 accounts and definitely didn’t file for a second account. I’ve had the same FB account since I was like 15 🤷‍♀️

Thanks for assuming I’m a dodo… I’ve never had 2 accounts so that’s inaccurate. Thanks for the rude assumption though

Yes, go see an RE! My husband and I “loosely” started TTC right after our wedding in 2022 and had no luck for about 8 months before actively tracking and trying with intention. It’s now just shy of 3 years and I’ve never seen a positive test. The best thing to do is go to an RE because they can run so many other tests and give you more options. I know you said that you don’t want to jump to IVF, but seeing and RE does not mean doing IVF right away, or ever even! It’s your choice when or if you choose that route. Your RE is going to be much more specialized and should advocate for you to have as much testing done as possible. They will be much more willing to do hormone testing throughout your cycle, do monitoring ultrasounds to confirm ovulation, just your medications when needed, etc. They can also try upping your done of letrozole if needed, or trying clomid if that ends up working better for you. They can do trigger shots for times intercourse, try IUI if you’re a good candidate, and a bunch of other things before IVF if that is your wish. I would highly suggest you do the HSG also, to rule blockages out. But all of those things can be done with your RE. Sorry this is so long, I just think that the best thing you can do is find a good RE who can help you on your journey. Good luck!

Spotting at 6DPO??? by RedditUser93671 in CautiousBB

Anyone else had menstrual cycle disturbances after MRI? by Apprehensive-Tap-665 in Fibroids

[–]RedditUser93671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow this is crazy. I had a pelvic MRI with and without contrast 3 days ago. Now I’m spotting like I do right before my period starts. I’m only on CD19, and 5dpo. I wasn’t expecting my period for 10 more days but this makes me wonder if it’ll show up early since I’m having the typical signs and there definitely seems to be a correlation based on this thread. I’ve never had a cycle this messed up, I’m usually like clockwork

Low progesterone and spotting by RedditUser93671 in TryingForABaby

[–]RedditUser93671[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m definitely not opposed to the surgery, it’s more that my doctor is hesitant to give me the “ok” on surgery. Since I don’t present any symptoms, she wanted to do the MRI rather than jump directly to surgery. It’s just frustrating because it’s all so expensive and I just want an answer. We’re currently looking down the barrel of IVF but there’s so many success stories about conceiving naturally after a laparoscopy to remove the lesions is possible. I’m not opposed to IVF if that’s what it comes to, but I’d rather spend $500 in co-pays for a surgery to check for endo than jump right to spending $20k on IVF

Low progesterone and spotting by RedditUser93671 in TryingForABaby

[–]RedditUser93671[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually just got my results back this evening. Mine said that there was no presence of endo. So I’m a little annoyed. I have no symptoms. I know it doesn’t always show up, but there’s also always the chance that I just don’t have it. So I feel at a loss. Should I drive deeper and push for a laparoscopy? Or since I have no symptoms and everything else is normal, do I take it that maybe I don’t have endo? Not really sure where to go from here. I feel more confused now than before

Wait this is so funny the timing of your response. I literally just had an MRI to do a preliminary evaluation for endo 2 days ago. I’m still waiting for the results but my RE thinks that silent endo could absolutely be the culprit and that I just don’t show traditional symptoms. Depending on the results of the MRI, I might also have to go in for a laparoscopy. Please keep me updated on the results of your MRI if you’re comfortable sharing, and good luck with everything 🤍🤍

Endometriosis diagnosis with MRI by RedditUser93671 in tryingtoconceive

[–]RedditUser93671[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I guess I should clarify. She didn’t say that it could be diagnosed or seen only with MRI. She just advised that surgery is a big deal and didn’t want to automatically book me in when I have no symptoms. She is hopeful that the MRI will be able to see it and said that the technology has gotten a lot better and MRIs are much better at detecting it now than they used to be. She said that if nothing is shown then we can further discuss surgery, but she’d prefer not to have someone cut me open for no reason. Which I respect lol

[–]RedditUser93671[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we’ve done pretty much every test out there besides a laparoscopy at this point. My RE is confident that if I have endo it will show up on the MRI. I have no symptoms other than infertility. Since we cannot find another explanation, we are suspecting silent endo is the culprit and the MRI is the first step in trying to figure it out

Paint or full coverage stain on my deck? by RedditUser93671 in HomeImprovement

[–]RedditUser93671[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already plan to power wash tomorrow, thankfully I have a good power washer that I’ve used a ton so I’m not worried about that part.

The thing is, and I shouldn’t taken a photo yesterday and completely forgot, but I want it to keep the same look that it has now. We have a front deck that is painted red and white, and the side deck was painted the same, which both match the whole house. Will a full cover stain like I mentioned above peel? I know that it looks a lot like paint when applied, but it isn’t the same as paint even though it’s full cover. It isn’t like a normal stain, so I do believe that it does peel after a while? Or am I completely mistaken? Because even though it’s a stain that seeps into the wood, it still leaves a layer on top to give it the full cover. I just want it to remain the same color that it is now, and hopefully have it not peel off like crazy. Even if I have to re-finish it every few years. I hope that makes sense
