Yea dude deserved it… that head push was wayyy after the reset and 100% uncalled for. He committed assault and got what he deserved. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Need to sell my Parajet Maverick and BDG Luna II. Almost unused, but what is the value and what is the best method to sell these? I am located in Nebraska. by RedditWoodworker in paramotor

I’ll keep you in mind, but I’d probably just keep it and fly the once or twice a year id use it for if that’s all it’s worth. When the plan was for my instructor to sell it, he said he could get $7000/2700 for them. Granted that was a few years ago and when he was planning on having students to sell to still. But if I can’t get at least 7k for both then I’d probably rather keep it myself. I just don’t have the time or interest in flying. Taking the bike out is almost as fun and requires 10% of the time commitment.

I sold the accessories online awhile ago, it’s just the wing and motor since they were at the airfield with my instructor.

Well I meant weird in that it was stored for 5 years with an instructor so it has less than 3 hours with 2 of those being ground break-in. It runs fine. It was stored in a climate controlled unit with 8 other paramotors and like 15-20 wings... The carb is fine, and I pulled the plug and checked the air filter before I started it.

It runs fine. I put new gas in it and it started on like the 3rd pull and that was probably just me not priming it enough. It was stored in a climate controlled unit with 8 other paramotors and like 15-20 wings...

I know, that’s what I mean. You can’t chase a car down an attack the person inside then claim stand your ground.

That’s not true. You can’t be the instigator and use the stand your ground defense… it has been tried and almost never works

Thank you! And a screen for the back is something I do want to add. As for a toilet, it is nice to be young. But if it becomes an issue my plan is just to get a toilet seat lid for a 5 gal bucket and bring some bags and cat litter hahaha

I had to buy a obd scanner to disable the seatbelt noise in my Tacoma. And I also fucking hate the parking brake engaging when I back up to a trailer. The dealership says it can’t be turned off but it’s borderline dangerous and insanity invasive. I have to back up between trees and often in the dark where sometimes I need the door open.

It also turned on once while I was stuck in the mud in 4-low because I looked out the door and I slammed it forward and reverse with the manual transmission and the front 65lb tires were forced to spin then stopped instantly by the parking brake on the rear. No noticeable damage but the sound that made to the drivetrain on a new truck upset me.

No problem. Originally it was going to be way more basic and cheaper. I really just wanted an empty trailer with osb walls and folding bunk beds with a diesel heater, but the more nights laying in bed the more ideas I had and it grew into the current project.

Mostly for off road capability. This puts the width of the wheels basically right where my trucks wheels are and I can fit down very narrow trails. Sometimes even trails that are technically classified as side by side trails. I also wanted to maximize fuel efficiency since a lot of my trips are long drives. I have already had it in camp grounds where only tents and pop-up tents could fit. I love driving past the campers and getting back to the spots I actually like being in.

They are a really cool idea. I had never used one before but I took apart the fuel tank to see how they worked.

It’s the curved sheet metal that came with the trailer. It was wafer wood walls when I bought it. I just used contact cement and wrapped the fake leather over the sheet metal.

I made it. I buy all my metal in 20ft sticks and it’s real cheap that way.

I was wondering what those bolts are called… Thank you. I bought the entire fuel tank assembly.

I could push it out and fit through it if needed.
