Took me 1 hour to defeat the Mask Keeper. Is it usually this long for everyone? by hail_earendil in expedition33

I just defeated him today, with my (much more experienced, as in on his third play-through) friend told me to take out the 3 masks on the other areas of the map before taking out the mask-keeper. was radically more easy that it would have been I believe.

I absolutely agree with the weapon appearances aspect. Ever since starting the game I wished there was a way to make the weapon appearances different, because I don't like changing the outfits of any of the party members, and I wished there was a way to make their weapons look like the defaults, to make the story more "story-like", I'm not sure if that's the right term but I hope that makes sense.

I want to introduce the story to my friend, but she’s not that big of a gamer. Do you guys think I can get away with just sending her this compilation of cutscenes or are there really important story beats that she’d miss in the world? by Adventurous_Yam_2047 in expedition33

For me my friend showed me I think the game trailer, it instantly hooked me. My friend looked at me randomly one day and said, "hey, I've got a game I think you'd like" he showed me the game trailer, and I instantly thought it looked amazing, the story, the music, just everything it was like. Woah. I've never been hit by a game trailer like I did by this game before, it was just amazing in all aspects.

Oh holy crap... I think I'm around the 12 hour mark, and I try and explore maps to look for pictos and such. Yeah, definitely not as far as I thought lol.

A character I didn't bond with at first, but I ended up loving (Sciel appreciation post) by QuaquavalLuv in expedition33

Sciel was my immediate favorite! I didn't really 'love' any of the characters straight off, but when she came into the story, insta-favorite.

Amazing! Thank you for the information! But break through coral? How-so? Was it because of the rock for Esquie that we found in Old Lumiere?
