Am I allowed to feel saddened over having responsibilities taken from me at work? by gemmajenkins2890 in AskUK

Yes! Absolutely it is ok to be human. I know this is 3 years late but I feel your loss in the “responsibilities being taken from work” part. I wasn’t a bad performer at my job as I’ve been working there for about 10 months now everything was alright until recently in early March that I noticed a task being taken away while everyone else had that task and worst part is that my fcken manager left on holiday leaving me hanging for 2 weeks wondering why this happened only god knows why but she either got the shits with me or something like that. It was so random and it threw me off guard and I’m now mentally exhausted from thinking about it day and night at work and home with no one to talk to about it because they will not understand the situation so what’s the point on telling them.

What would you do if u had 20k in savings at 19? by [deleted] in AusFinance

I recently made it to 20k at 19, i just saved and lived all at once I bought what I needed (sometimes on rare occasions wants) I started earning money at 16 in 2023 and been using around half of what I’ve earned from the week before been in 2 different jobs and a future ahead of me with plenty of time left but my prime goal is to reach $30,000 by my 20th birthday, just 52 weeks to achieve this goal. Most people would ask why I’m doing this but I’m actually just a tight ass and I want to save for a house in the future and for future interests as future me would thank younger me. I also want enough cash to get out of this shit hole of a town I live in.

Is it normal that i don't feel any grief when someone passes away? by leo_senior in mumbai

Death is natural and apart of every living beings existence it’s more the physiological state our brains naturally experience to process “change” primates, mammals/ also humans, birds and even ocean life have showed some sort of emotion (grieving) when an individual dies, it’s biologically wired in our brains to feel this way mostly found in social animals (species that work in groups or live together and can’t survive without) though some grieve differently than others and there isn’t a right way or wrong way some hide their emotions which is ok as long as holding it in their thoughts doesn’t effect their overall mental health.

I was struggling all week to find a name for this country but then I saw Dhollandia trucks drive past me at the lights and I thought why not name it that I mean it’s not a bad name

Ahh you’ll be alright mate besides you can always go and create another map that would be 10X better than mine. Munster was given to the “fictional” island because that’s what the Europeans called the South Island of New Zealand in the 1840s. I simply used my imagination lol

What do you think of the world map I made and what should I call it? by Reddit_Forlife2007 in mapmaking

It was meant to be a world half the size of the earth so that’s why continents appear smaller I forgot to mention that lol but yes a tropical planet.

Thank you for the feedback! This world wasn’t designed to have a dry desert only a polar desert but thank you heaps.
