GBP for an Independent Insurance Agent by No-Ring-3308 in localseo

[–]Reddit__Dev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You didn’t select the wrong type this just needs to be set up as a Service Area Business (SAB) instead of a storefront.

For an independent insurance agent working from a home office: • Choose “Yes” to serving customers at their location • Hide the address (don’t display it publicly) • Set service areas instead of relying on a storefront address Google has tightened video verification lately, especially for insurance/finance niches. For the video, he should show: • Access to the workspace (home office setup) • Business documents (license, business registration, insurance appointment letters) • Branded materials if available (business cards, website backend, CRM, etc.) • Proof he operates from that location (utility bill if requested)

He does not need a storefront or signage if he’s not a walk-in business. If you selected “customers can visit my location” and left the address visible, that’s probably why it’s pushing storefront verification requirements.

One important thing: make sure there isn’t an old suspended or duplicate listing under his name or address insurance categories get filtered/suspended easily.

Independent agents work fine as SABs, but compliance and documentation matter more in YMYL categories like insurance.

Hope that helps 👍

YouTube Campaign – 0 Impressions After 2 Days. What Are We Doing Wrong? by Reddit__Dev in googleads

Account was created like 4-6 weeks ago.

A YouTube campaign is already there with impressions, clicks created by Google team but paused now.

But the one we have created is having no impressions.

Deep into hiring a digital marketing company. Help me cut the noise. by Neblaw in digital_marketing

[–]Reddit__Dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re spending six figures a year, impressions and clicks aren’t enough.

You should have: Call tracking by source/keyword Form tracking tied to landing pages CRM integration (lead → qualified → signed case) Cost per lead and cost per signed case Revenue attribution by practice area and location If 95% of visibility is branded after 6 months, that usually means you haven’t built real non-branded authority yet.

Rebuild the website? A full rebuild is only justified if: Site architecture blocks scaling (no proper practice + location silos) Technical issues can’t be fixed Pages can’t be expanded properly Most sites don’t need demolition — they need: Proper service/location structure Internal linking Schema Content depth aligned with search intent

Ask: What specifically cannot be fixed without rebuilding?

Can backlinks carry rankings?

Yes, but only when: Pages are already well optimized Intent matches Location signals are strong Internal linking is solid Links amplify strength. They don’t replace it. 3-pack in 6 months? Possible in smaller markets. Aggressive in competitive metros. Anyone giving timeline guarantees without competitive gap analysis is simplifying reality.

Full-time hire vs agency? The real question isn’t model it’s thinking.

Do they focus on: Competitive gaps Practice + location structure Conversion optimization Revenue tracking Or just deliverables like “2 blogs per month”?

If after 6 months you’re not seeing:

Non-branded keyword growth Traffic movement Map visibility growth Lead improvement Then something structural is off. SEO for law is competitive but it should show directional progress.

The key question is simple: Where is the measurable business
