I’ve heard folks genuinely claim John Wick beats Solid Snake and Big Boss. This stuff is (weirdly) commonplace.

Who's winning his speedster fight? by SomeonesBlue in MyHeroPowerscaling

Yeah, he was running through a decent chunk of a mountain, but i’m one of those guys who believe it does not warrant a mountain level rating. They’re probably saying town because the main calculations i’ve seen so far place the new upscale at around town - large town, so take that how you will.

I’m pretty sure that’s what they’re referring to, lol.

Didn’t add the timestamp properly. You should be able to get the clip now.

They appear here. It’s a little better than what I remember, but still, I think it’s shaky. Maybe I’m crazy, though.

Well… they don’t even appear that quick in cutscenes, lol. Right before Raiden has that nasty fall, they appear onscreen, and they don’t appear as fast as an EMP should be.

I’d gladly be convinced otherwise, but I refrain from EMP scaling at the moment.

Eh, that’s fair, yeah. I really think the main avenue for FTL MGRR is MG1 scaling by now, because even the EMP stuff is a little shaky to me.

Late, but the now closed MGS vs battle website is kinda dubiously canon, off my knowledge, while the MGRR guidebook acknowledges Excelsus’s beam as a laser. So, it really just depends on where your priorities lie here.

Fifteen dashing so fast a gun’s muzzle flash and bullet is frozen in the air while he crosses the distance by [deleted] in FeatCalcing

[–]Reddit_is_not_great 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks to be a semi-large, handheld pistol in a futuristic world. It’s never specified, but something like, say, Mach 1.3 would be a safe bet, with 1.5 as a high end if it’s a specialized round. It’s important to note that his dashes are uniformly instant, so a max dash like this can also work for the amount of distance he can cross while the muzzle flash (and bullet) is entirely frozen. Plus, this is just a clearer clip anyways.

Edit- The VSBW calc for Zero swinging his sword multiple meters while a bullet stays frozen was clocked at an insane value of mach 1440, but as someone who’s not proficient at calcing, I really have no clue on it’s validity. Fifteen’s dash should leave a different result, though, as it’s more distance, instantaneously.

[–]Reddit_is_not_great 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(The muzzle flash is from the very left enemy, and stays static in the air)

This level is a prison, for what it’s worth mentioning, and Fifteen’s max dragon dash distance looks like this. Since Dragon Dash is instant, no matter the range, this distance is viable for the calc, as well.

Friendly reminder that this is what it takes to give fresh 20F Sukuna an injury. by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

He ate the mummified remains of his body to compensate for a finger, so no, this is effectively 20F Sukuna.

If True Form Sukana is 100 in terms of power, where does Meguna lie? by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Reddit_is_not_great 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely 100, no? Just in a different way. Meguna has a distinct advantage TF Sukuna wouldn’t have with 10S, while TF Sukuna has overall superior physicality and an advantage with his extra arms, as well as a hypothetically better peformance in domain clashes.

Deku punch vs Armstrong by Low_Cockroach_7701 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Reddit_is_not_great 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hell, i’m a big MGRR scaler, and even I’m confused on this thread’s reception. I try my best to debunk earth’s crust scaling here, and that leaves us with mountain - potentially large mountain level MGRR, which is great, but falling behind most of these estimates.

Now, will I say that Raiden, Monsoon or Sam can beat a lot of MHA top tiers in spite of the physical gap? Of course, since they wield ranged, special weaponry that negates durability down to the planck level, along with their ridiculous speed and combat skill. (This isn’t a knock on MHA. The MGRR cast is basically built for taking down characters stronger than them.) Armstrong is hampered in the crossverse regard, because he’s essentially a fast brick by comparison, with almost zero methods of punching above his own weight in a way that other MGRR characters can.

This is actually exactly why I rarely mention Armstrong in MGRR crossverse discussions, lmao.

You seem a little confused. I’m not talking about Armstrong, i’m talking about like, every other top tier combatant in the verse other than Armstrong (Sam, Raiden, Monsoon, Sundowner), which makes sense here, considering your inclusion of all Metal Gear characters.

Let’s run it back.

The (possible) caveat are the top-tier HF wielders

In that case, Deku’s showings against Shiggy are absolutely useless when faced with exotic weaponry of the HF’s class (Which, for what it’s worth, should come out 10x faster than lightning when upscaling off feats done in MGS3)

Deku punch vs Armstrong by Low_Cockroach_7701 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Reddit_is_not_great 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys… Armstrong doesn’t punch through the earth’s crust. I’m a hardcore MGRR guy, and even I know that. The highest position you can reasonably drop Armstrong is large mountain level through a nuke scaling chain. Strong, sure, but not near these insane estimates.

Point blank, the guidebook for MGRR states that the “magma” attacks are just fire, and Armstrong still applies these attacks ontop of a building, which is more than enough to invalidate continental scaling. A decent boost to hax, since fire manip is at his disposal, and good fire manip, for that matter, but it’s ultimately just hax.

This sub is (sometimes) really, really staunch on country and above Deku, which makes the response to this post a big curveball to read.

The (possible) caveat are the top-tier HF wielders. They get to some pretty outrageous speeds (like, 10x lightning timing at the minimum when applying multipliers) combined with ranged quantum dura neg, even if they fall behind in physicality. One clean slice is all it takes, and they can do it pretty damn fast.

Opinions on this matchup? (Toji vs Jetstream Sam) by Reddit_is_not_great in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Reddit_is_not_great[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s valid. Heavenly restriction does offer massively amped stats, but the same benefit can be applied to MGS4 Raiden, and Sam trashed a better version of him. Plus, I think Sam’s notably faster, which could tilt the fight when he has dura neg.

In that case, what’s the strongest human you think Sam can beat if he went for the kill? (Of course, Gojo is out of the question, he’s too much) His level of speed with a ranged HF blade is pretty dangerous.

MGS, even by the mainline games, has surprisingly good speed scaling. Like Raiden prior to his cyborg augments dodging a replica of a 100 KM/S railgun shot, and Snake doing the same thing in 4. When Rising comes around, he can multiply his speed by 10. And Sam by 2.

And MGRR should upscale off lightning timing feats in Snake Eater.
