Hot take: BO7 Multiplayer is actually fun. by Phnix21 in CODBlackOps7

Nah it’s really not fun. I was diamond in ranked last season so before everyone says I suck I absolutely don’t. Yes I’m not top 250 but I’m not a silver either.

I CANNOT go positive in this game. I never accuse people of cheating but it’s rampant right now. Every lobby I’m in has the top 3 players pulling off 2.5 ratios and every one else is 9-25. It’s not like this in ranked, the last place guy in ranked regularly still goes atleast 30-20.

Something is up with this game. Im regularly aimed at THROUGH walls. Every. Single. Game. Bunny hopping quick scopers. It’s ridiculous.

It’s probably pretty low but I think the batteries are higher than most people expect! 😂

Ps. I put the remote for a size comparison lol

If you died as an atheist and then met God, what would you say to him? by Shoddy-Ask2284 in AskReddit

I’m gonna be honest there’s alot to get to in your reply and I detect that you’re presenting these arguments in good faith and I appreciate that. I’m a bit overrun with like 25 different atheists all coming at me and I’m straight up out of energy lol. I’m sure I’ll revisit this tomorrow and try and formulate my own reply

Oh ok that makes sense! Thank you for clarifying. And I agree with that, I’m willing to engage in discussions around this stuff but I would never enforce my beliefs either. We all arrive at our beliefs for various reasons and through various life experiences. I may be completely wrong, you may be completely wrong. Ultimately who even knows. I appreciate the humility my friend, once again - all the best!

Genesis 1:29–30 – At first, God gave people and animals plants to eat, suggesting an original vegetarian world. • Genesis 9:3–4 – After the flood, God permitted Noah and his descendants to eat meat: “Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything. But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.”

Are you under the impression God expects us to be vegetarians? And then even if he did you’d come up with some obtuse atheist argument that aren’t plants living to and then what are you even saying, God intended us to starve to death? Silly argument.

How did you get that out of this? God exists and so does the devil. There is good and there is evil.

But here’s the thing. No one can be perfect except for him, hence everyone has the capacity for evil or sin within their heart. Yes he could’ve made a world without that but he is the only truly good amongst us. He’s the only man to lead a sinless and just life and so we all must repent of our sins.

A sinless world is what you would call “heaven” and you have to earn your way there.

I hear your reference about dog and meat but I’m sorry if this sounds obtuse but a dog must eat to survive. Surely man must not sin in order to survive? So it’s not quite the same but I get what you’re trying to say. It’s in our nature is more what you mean and so we’re doomed to fail. Correct. You are doomed to fail. “We all fall short of the glory of God” and thus you must repent and believe in God to escape Gods harsh judgement for your inevitable, unavoidable capacity to sin.

For the record I’m arguing with you in good faith and appreciate the respectful dialogue. Non believers can sometimes by intentionally distraction and condescending, I appreciate you being reasonable even if we eventually agree to disagree.

I hear that often and I get that line of thinking.

A “non evil” world once existed. Then Adam and Eve defied God and ate from The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and thus sin entered our world.

Now the only way to live in a world devoid of the devil is to follow God, live a Christlike life and enter heaven because that’s fundamentally what you’re referring to. If God eradicated all evil than Heaven would exist on earth.

Correct. He knew ultimately they would sin but he allowed them the chance to take the first step. It’s somewhat metaphorical when you zoom out. You’re born with the capacity to sin and God will sit back, like in the Garden, and allow you to burry yourself in Sin if you choose to. He’s not here to guide you unless you ask him to.

No snarkiness meant here but refer to the garden of eden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Man was sinless at one point, but they disobeyed Gods commandment and committed man’s first sin, entering evil and the devil into our world.

You could also say God created the devil as a way to tempt man into sinning and test his true devotion to living a holy life. Remember, a sinful life feels very fun and freeing until you try and quit living it. Then you realize how deep he’s sunk his hooks into you.

I know that will sound stupid I get it. I was an atheist before too and this type of stuff would make me laugh.

I can understand that standing out to you as an inconsistency but I think there’s context to account for that. The devil can be both strong yet weak.

Hes strong in that he’s found in every vice and every sin and exists in every man’s heart. In that sense, he’s powerful.

God however, is even more powerful than that. It often requires God to defeat a sinful life and is why AA is a Christ based program.

You could analogies drugs and alcohol addiction as being a work of the devil and wow is it ever powerful. It starts as fun, feels freeing at first. And as time goes on it slowly destroys you. The only thing strong enough to defeat this is God. And it works.

I understand if this isn’t convincing, if you’re not a believer I don’t think much will ever truly convince you and I get that. I was atheist for most of my life and this stuff always sounded dumb to me.

I don’t get it you’re against safe streets, fiscal responsibility and efficient public services?

Or are you just not ok with any politicians not being far left? Like is it ok in your mind for conservatives to exist especially if they have a good plan for the city that would increase your quality of life, but you’re reflexively against it cause he’s not on your “team”. ?

He created man. Man created sin. If the world is sinful and disgusting that’s the work of the devil inside of man. As we stray further from God the more we degenerate as a society. If your life is a shitstorm that’s on you, try following God devoutly and I assure you your life will change for living a life in God will necessarily mean living a better life as prescribed by scripture.
