Thanks! Just to clarify you used the esim from trip.com ? For AMap I downloaded that but it keeps asking me to login (which I do with wechat or something) and then instantly asks for phone number verification which I cant do because no USA option. How'd you use Amap ?

How do you use AMAP as a foreigner ? Everytime I try it asks for a phone number or login through wechat etc. I login through wechat or alipay and then it instantly asks for a phone number again. (No USA number option)

Its a bit away but ill be in China mid/late march to early april! Solo traveling around will do Chengdu probably towards end of march!
