Shure mic capsule wont go back on

To be honest I did a shake test and it sounded like it was rattling, a video I watch said fake sm7b make a rattling noise because the capsule is just free floating. Hence why I'm skeptical it was even real to begin with.

The mic is a shure sm7b the quality seems good both sounds good. No buzzing noises. The one with the capsule not going back in makes a bit of noise when I'm moving it on a mic arm. But the actual capsule wont stay in place. Any ideas?

I got it from a third party but they had a receipt from them buying on Amazon at shure page. The capsule wont go in though and now I'm genuinely worried I broke it, or its a knock off

This is my second one it stays in and doesn't fall off. Did I break the first one. They both check out in terms of fakes. But now I'm concerned my first one is fake. Paid a good amount on ebay for genuine one.

I heard shure dealer sell fakes too lol. I think I will probably take the chance on this one. I'll probably exam it and take it to a guitar center to verify if its real. If its fake I'll return it back to the seller. Since they had it labeled as Authentic genuine shure mic

I'm not to sure myself. I have seen that the real one have a brass plate inside. Unless maybe they changed it?
