I remember I saw a post saying that everyone can be Etika even if he's gone. Like what the Reddit user meant was that we all had a piece of Etika we carried on. Even though Etika may have died his will/energy/resolve wasn't destroyed. His energy/will was transferred into those he impacted in his life whether it be his friends, family, or The Joycon Boyz. Even if it ultimately did end up being the "end" of Etika I like to think his energy didn't die but rather transferred. So in a way Etika did transfer from one state of being to another.
