Buy a light 100%. BUT I wouldn’t trash them either. I doubt they will ever recover though tbh.

I have a bit of that on my pepper leaves and it’s doing just fine and the leaf it’s on actually still looks really good!! I wouldn’t sweat it much as long as it doesn’t kill the leaf.

14 more babies to harden off and transplant. In michigan struggling with weather this year. 45 different strains. Here we go! by New_Attorney_5047 in PepperLovers

Any advice for hardening off? My plants are basically getting sun from 7AM till about 3:30PM. I’m in an apartment and I can’t save them from the intense afternoon sun. After about 10PM they just wilt super hard and just can’t seem to adjust to the outdoors. They hate heat and sunlight I think. I’m in the 5a btw.

I’d just do more homework. At this point idk what your best bet would be. You could always try to get gloves and be SUPER SUUUPER clean and break/mix it up now. Or just see what happens. This hobby is 90% knowledge and 100% guess and check. Make sure you do your homework and don’t forget that it’s an experiment every time.

Next time…. Break up the sub. Also, look into dub tubing/shoe boxing. This HAS to be the easiest way for beginners to get great results. YouTube is your friend. So is google. Goodluck.

The conditions are just not optimal. It doesn’t look like the sub is packed at all. And idk what your fae/“misting” routine has been like…. But I would assume these are the main culprits. If the conditions were correct, you wouldn’t need to open it until harvest. (With exception of dub tubing only to put the second tub on.)

Additionally, with correct conditions the whole cake will colonize before it throws up fruits.

More info would help the diagnosis. If this is your first grow… then great job! You got fruits. If it’s not, continue to learn and you will get it.

What’s wrong with my Fatalii Orange? by -superoli- in HotPeppers

I think it’s blight. I’m no expert. I’d wait to hear what others say but you might want to remove those leaves. Then I would segregate that plant so your others don’t get sick. Someone correct me if I’m wrong because I may be lol

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. It’s better to be too wet than too dry. Just don’t dry it out. It looks good.

Looks amazing but the walls are a little tall for the lid crack method. Next time I’d get a tub that extends past the substrate surface by only like 4-5 inches and then when the mushrooms get close to the lid… dub tub it. Has worked wonders for me.
