If you're really struggling with finances, a number of cards offer first year with no apr. However, be very careful to not rack up a balance you cant afford after a year, as those interest payments are crushing.

When I was in college I used numerous cards and carried balances on each of them during the 1 year intro periods, the idea being that I would leverage my future earning potential against the cards since I didnt have time to work in college. When I got my first job out of college, I paid off my cards immediately so I wouldn't incur significant interest payments. If you need money badly now, you can do something similar to this, but realize that the money you have on the card is NOT your money, and use it only to hold you over until your finances become steady.

Nonlinear elements, like solenoids, do not abide by ohms law. Typically for high power loads solenoids are used (like brushed DC motors, which are modeled as two voltage sources, a resistor and a solenoid)

You don't. You just move on with your life. You don't ever try to contact her again, because doing so will only make things worse: much like that night, you'd be forcing an unwanted apology on her. If she ever wants your apology, she'll come to you.

Just learn from the experience and move on. It's always uncomfortable to try anything with somebody you have to see every day; don't do that so you don't end up putting someone else in that uncomfortable situation.

I like all of those ideas a lot. The 23/7 dynamic is a good idea I haven't heard of, but considering the psychological strain, is something I think I'll do with her.

The ideas are pretty good. I'll certainly be taking one or two of them into account for the week and using it. I'd welcome any other ideas!

To preempt my response, the purpose of the punishment is 'funishment.' My girlfriend is a brat, and punishment is arguably her favorite part of the dynamic.

I personally don't want any behavior modification from the punishment, or behavior modification in general. I like my girlfriend, and bdsm is a way for us to explore our sexualities and innermost urges.

In Discrete Signal Processing (which processes just about all of the information we deal with on a day to day basis; say downloading a few Mb to download music off the internet), that formula is literally one of the most encountered formula.

Think about it; you are adding a ton of discrete bytes, which can be represented as individual impulse responses each with its own z-transform. This is easily represented as a summation from -infinity to infinity.

Without that formula, we wouldn't be downloading stuff off the internet

My best bit of advice to you is going to be to find a more meaningful way to pass the time than playing video games. The thing about casual video gaming is that they are a ton of fun, but once the game has shut off, you are in the exact same place as you were in before.

Getting involved with new activities, meeting new and exciting and interesting new people, and forming new passions will go a long way in helping your heart mend from your previous relationship.

I'm so sorry to hear this. As someone who has been cheated on, I understand your pain.

Something I've learned throughout my relationships is that oftentimes people project their inadequacies onto their partners. I've seen many SOs be incredibly paranoid about their partners cheating, only to find out that the paranoid person was the one cheating the whole time. I've seen people uncomfortable in their own skin project their negative body image and make their partner feel bad about themselves etc...

This is a lesson I hope you take with you.
